Royal Estates of Wichita Falls

The community was convenient, seemed like a very nice facility and the price was right. The management have been real kind and helped me in any way they can and the food is good. I love the biscuits and gravy in the morning. The housekeeping does an excellent job, I'm very pleased with that. I've been very satisfied with it all.

My father has lived at Royal Estates for 4 years now and I'd say he is safe and comfortable at the community. Management covers all the bases, they help clean and they just treat him very well, like he is part of the family there. The wait staff gives him extra ice ceam if he asks and I see that there are lots of activities to do all the time. In terms of cleanliness, his room is cleaned well and maintenance keeps things fixed, so I have never had to ask them to do anything. All in all, we're satisfied with the services and accommodations provided for him at the community.

Over the past year or so Dad has been there, the managers seem to have done well. Dad does use the transportation and it's been a very good thing. He's in a scooter and he can roll out there and they lift him into the van or bus. When I go in there it always seems like housekeeping keep things picked up, trash emptied, and his room vacuumed. It's good to me, and maintenance keeps the community working and picked up and clean. I think dad likes the dining most of the time, and the food is fairly good. I think they have a lot of activities there. I think the apartment is fine for him, he's got plenty of room, he's safe, he's secure, and I have no complaints.

My mother's apartment is fine and the management always takes care of what I need. Everything has been fine with the dining. We have been to a lot of the concerts and parties they host. I have never seen anything out of place or any problems when I have been there. The building and grounds look good, overall.

I really like that my mom is here. I am a RN and I have been in a lot of assisted living communities and this one doesn't feel like one. It feels like a home. Mom really likes the food and you can always get a sandwich or something else if you don't like what they are serving. She loves the activities they offer and stays busy. When I go to visit I hardly ever find her in her room, she is either at an activitiy or off on a bus ride. I am really happy with her there.

I just moved my mom into Royal Estates because in my opinion it's one of the better places in town. It's a little expensive, but I think it's well worth what we're getting. The management team is great, I don’t have any problems with them at all. The menu and the food and the dining are great, and the activities are good as well, they're well-planned. The housekeepers are all good, and maintenance and transportation are good as well. I'm good with everything we've gotten so far.

When I came in, Patty, Lucy and Kelsey were just very willing to work with us. They were just very accommodating and we could afford it. It was a wonderful place and they were willing to do whatever they could to help us, they were just amazing. My mom likes the food and they're accommodating to her. If she doesn't like what's on the menu, the Anytime Menu is delicious, she's just loving it. They provide a lot of activities, they had a cruise ship night that was well attended and everyone had a really good time, almost all the residents were there. We're just so happy they do everything they can to make it feel like home, it's really great.

It is an excellent value. She is in a secured place. It is comfortable and she is happy. It seems like a really nice place. We moved my mom in for the nice apartment and the freedom to have nurses when needed. My mom is excited to go to each of the activities and talks in the evening about how much fun she has had that day. The maintenance department seems like they are on top of any problems. She took the offered transportation the other day to the doctor and she was real thrilled on how well that worked out. I just know my mom is very happy there and I'm glad she has a nice place to live.

The Royal Estates does a great job.They make our lives so much better. My dad is homebound now so he doesn't good to the dining room anymore. But, they deliver the meals to him and are very kind. The people from the dining room talk to him to see if they can bring him anything. They have all kinds of activities going on. My dad doesn't participate, but I think that department is doing great. The maintenance is good and when there has been an issue they take care of it pretty quickly. The care services are also going very well. For everything he gets I think the value is good.

My sister lives at the Royal Estates and I think everything has been fine. They offer plenty of activities, although she isn't one to participate in those. Management and maintenance have been fine. We really haven't had any concerns so far.
