Sage Desert

They have a great place to go for a walk at the community and we overlook the wash and the desert, so we could see the animals. There are a lot of nice people at the community and we have cards games and they lead a group on a little hike every now and then. Chris in management is always there for us and all of the other employees are excellent. I am comfortable voicing my concerns with them. The activities are great. Housekeeping always cleans our rooms and does our laundry. Zach in maintenance is a jack of all trades and the care staff always make sure to check on us. I could not be in a better place.

I love everyone here and the management team is very respectful and very knowledgeable. The food here is wonderful, the food service is wonderful and the chef is spectacular. The housekeeping is good and the building is beautiful and very well maintained. The caregivers are wonderful in the memory care unit where my mom is. I do like this community because they have taken such good care of my mother. That is why I put my sister and brother in law here.

Chris the director is a great guy. He is very approachable and very easy to talk to. He always on top of things if I need to talk to him about something. The building seems like it is in great condition. The care givers are always nice to my mom and me. Overall, we like it quite a bit.

I am perfectly happy here and I have the best room in the whole building, which is nice. The healthcare staff is respectful and accessible. The maintenance man is always hurrying around with his helper and the building is maintained. Last month, I decided to see how many activities I could go to in 7 days and in one week, I did 30 activities. They do very good with the dining experience and we've had lobster before, so they look out to make it good. Management is always around in the halls and taking care of things, which is amazing. I feel very safe and comfortable. Overall, other communities don't stack up to this place and they keep bringing in extra things. As far as I am concerned, I plan to stay here the rest of my life.

The care staff at the community is excellent and the food is great.

Their strongpoint is something you can't get enough credit to. The executive director knows who the residents are and is on the floor. The head of the memory care unit is also involved in making sure you get what you need. She went out and helped me shop for my wife when she first moved in to get the right items for her. The nursing staff are very responsive. They have called me on the phone when they saw something unusual with my wife. I really thing Sage Desert is number one.

The management is outstanding. There hasn't been anything that needed attention that they didn't take care of. My wife loved the food there. She was challenged there ,so it was good. She is pretty high functionin,g and she enjoyed helping the staff with the activities. The maintenance took care of any issue that existed. As far as the care, we were very happy.

They were just really straightforward. Jody, the NP, was super easy to meet with. It wasn't like trying to chase down a doctor. If there is anything that needs to be done right away, she'll just deal with it. She's really attentive and very practical. They were just really easy to connect with. The maintenance man is very friendly. When he comes in to take care of whatever it is, he makes sure it's done or he tells you when he's coming back to fix it. My mom seems to be enjoying the activities, and she is totally happy with the dining. April, the intake person, was really great. She went and interviewed my mom and helped facilitate all the paperwork. She was pretty clear about asking me things that she needed. Everyone was easy enough to communicate with, so we were able to solve things that came up pretty well.

Everyone has been so helpful and any questions that I have had were answered immediately. Management is very accessible, and their overall response time is very quick. The care people I have seen are so comforting and aware of my family. I feel like I have made best friends from all of them. The maintenance staff have gone out of their way to set up the apartment for them just like it was home. The housekeeping services are agreeable. The community has joke nights and lots of other activities to choose from. The quality of food is satisfactory, and the dining service is excellent. The people they hire here are just amazing as far as how they react. The place is clean and spacious with lots of places to sit, so I have been really impressed. It's a like a resort, but a really comfortable resort. Overall, we like the community for my parents, and I am satisfied with the value received.

The first thing I noticed about the community is that their communication has been outstanding, both the healthcare staff and management. One of the managers has given me their cellphone numbers if I want to text and she gets back to you right away. The building looks great and when I went back the next day after bringing a TV, it was all setup and ready to go. I have seen the activity calendar and I think they're well planned. The dining is exceptional, I am very impressed with the food and the wait staff has been very friendly. There are a number of outdoor areas to hang out as a small family, so between that, the food and the staff, the value is outstanding. All in all, they have really made my transition very, very manageable and comfortable.
