Sage Desert

I recommend it to everyone who is looking. One of the the things we really like is the activities, they try to keep mom occupied and doing little things everyday. My favorite is the Mystery Ride on Tuesdays.

Chris who the director there is always eager and anxious to please and is always available. There is never a point where he can't see me. He is very responsive to anybody that asks. When I had question regarding various issues he was eager to please. There was a good variety on the menu and obviously the courtesy of all the staff was good as well. The housekeeping was always perfect; spot on. All of the care givers were phenomonal. Candace and Alma in particular. From them down everyone was right on their game.

Based on the competition, I would say it is a good value. I think Chris, the director, is doing a great job. My mother seems to enjoy the food and has never complained that the menu is lacking. The caregivers all seem to be very compassionate. From start to finish, everyone helped make the decision a lot easier on where to put her.

I think everything is working really well there and I am very pleased with this community. Everybody has been really nice to my folks and the servers are really good. Every night when I call my mom, my step dad tells me that they had something different and that the food was good. I think the activities are awesome. If we can get her up and ready to go she will go to the exercise class. They have a cooking class and a makeup class and other things that get the residents out of their rooms. Housekeeping is very good and does a great job. There is one maintenance guy who is always there and is always running around. He is very helpful and awesome. I think the caregivers do an excellent job. They give her her medication every day and bathe her three times a week.

We chose it because the amenities and the staff were wonderful. I liked the extended menu. The service in the dining area is wonderful. The maintenance is great. The building is very well maintained. The caregivers are wonderful. They will do anything for you. Even when I call after hours somebody always answers. They are just great.

I chose this community for my parents because of the location plus the environment. It was new and looked inviting. Management is very empathetic, they understand the situations that we've dealt with and are very helpful. Management really knows my parents very well. I would like to give kudos to Karen the activities person. She's awesome with my parents and can get them involved even if they don't want to be. Karen holds a special place in my mom's heart and I really appreciate everything she does for my parents. What they do for my parents is pretty outstanding and my parents love it there. The healthcare staff are pretty good. I like that they establish a relationship with my parents.

I feel like my loved one is safe and comfortable at this community. Management does a really terrific job. Chris picked up and grabbed my mom in a company vehicle from her last stay at the hospital and brought her back to the community. He is a thoughtful human being. Karen was the first person we talked to and she was terrific. She still is terrific and greets us when we come in. Leony has helped me endlessly with the long care people who have constantly figured out a way to not pay her. She has been a real resource in getting those things collected. The housekeeping is pretty decent and I am satisfied with the building maintenance. The caregivers do a better than adequate job and for her situation, the staffing is adequate.

Based on the string of communities my mother has been in, two in Georgia and now Sage Desert in Arizona, we think it's equivalent or possibly a better value for her here. Management staff is respectful and knowledgeable, and I am comfortable with approaching the healthcare staff about different situations

We chose it because they had an open bed. We also looked at some other ones. The staff was very accommodating and very helpful so that is why we went with Sage Dessert for my mom. It has been very pleasant to work with the management. They have been very accommodating to our needs. The care givers have been great. She has a doctor that comes in twice a week and her name is Jody. She has been excellent. We had an issue where we needed to get a television mounted in my mom's room. They took care of it. I believe that she has participated in some and what she has done she has enjoyed. I would like to sing praises for Chris the manager, the sales person and April. All three of them were tremendous to work with.

I thought it looked great when I was there, it seemed like a good fit. Management is great, the person I met with Karen gave me all the information and was very straightforward, gave me a wonderful tour and showed me all the different options. I was just there and had lunch and it was very good, I was pleasantly surprised and the servers were wonderful. I think the activities are awesome, I think there is lots to do, they send me pictures of her doing stuff all the time so I love that. Every time the healthcare staff sees my mom, any staff, they say hi to her and everyone has been so responsive, it's really wonderful.
