Sage Harbor at Baywinde

During the pandemic, the management is keeping us informed and things are running very smoothly. The food is being delivered to them and my mother is enjoying her meals. I couldn't ask for anything more. In regards to the activities, they are doing hallway concerts and they are doing stuff where the residents can participate from their doorway. They have also delivered things for the residents to do in the room. They are doing the best they can do in the circumstances currently. The care givers are knowledgeable and very kind and whenever my mother calls them they come down.

It is a relief for us because we are all out of state. He is in good hands. He can't just walk out of the building and get lost walking down the street because they have good security there. It is a peace of mind. We are all happy, including him. He loves the food. They try to keep him pretty active and involved with activities. If he is having any issues there is an in house nurse or somebody that checks his vitals. They make sure that he takes all his medication. They manage the inbound of his medication. He is in good hands. They are very pleasant and very nice.

This community is probably rated one of the most affordable facilities in our area for their level of care. The staff is phenomenal in getting everyone what they want. They're very attentive to replacing carpet and sprucing things up.

I looked at a lot of other places but the value I pay every month is better than I can expect. I really like the management team there. They communicate very well. They serve the meals on time and make sure everyone is sitting down and eating. It looks very well prepared and the service staff have smiles on their faces. It's always clean and they do her laundry. The building during the summer is really pretty.

The care staff at the community does a really great job taking care of my mother and the management team also seems to know what they are doing. The housekeeping and laundry is also always on time.

The management has been exceptional, respectful and accessible. If the healthcare staff notice something is amiss, they don't hesitate to call me, so they're real good. I am satisfied with the apartment maintenance and building maintenance. The community looks clean when I go through and the staff tend to clean up accidents quickly. The dining is on time, the residents seem to like it and there is a variety offered. The exercise programs they have for them are satisfactory. Overall, my wife feels safe and comfortable at the community.

The dining area always looks clean. Housekeeping does a really good job and if there is a maintenance issue that I bring to their attention it gets done right away. My mom has been there now for four years and at the time it was the best value and it was the most convenient.

I chose the community for respite because it was recommended to us, but my mom was at the community in earlier in the year too, so she came back. I was satisfied with the apartment cleaning, and they handled laundry very well. The healthcare staff was respectful and accessible. Everything was very well done with 24 hour nurse care, and she was pleased with them. The building looked well maintained, especially with the new carpets. It was good the way their activities had resident interaction. They asked them questions and wanted their input instead of just telling them stuff. The food was well done, and she was very positive about both the dining and choices. Management was always helpful. They went out of their way when I had a question, and I was never told to wait a minute. Overall, she felt safe and comfortable, so we'd definitely come back if we'd need to.

If I need anything, the management team is here in a very short time. The food is awfully good here. They have a lot of activities. They do all my laundry and bring it back all nicely folded. The care that I have needed has been good. Everything is good so far.

My mother is no longer at the community, but she had very good care there by wonderful people. She loved their bingo, crafts, and when people did her nails. She also loved all of the people that did the activities and felt very close to them. For whatever we asked for, the maintenance staff did it when they could, and they were very helpful. I thought the housekeeping and laundry services did a good job. Management was very good and helpful. I loved the accommodations because it was perfect for he,r and I thought I'd live there. Overall, she felt comfortable, and I felt as though that they extended her life.
