Sage Harbor at Baywinde

My mom lives at Sage Harbor of Baywinde and she feels comfortable at the community. She has been at Baywinde 7 or 8 years now and this was the best place to put her. Every time I have been there the place is kept pretty clean and with laundry, clothing is put away. She is encouraged to participate in activities and I have been there when they have taken her out for games, so they're doing better than I would do certainly. The menu is all good stuff, plus people get her in, out of there and feed her there. Overall, the management is they're really nice, really good and the community is doing a great job.

I like Glory, in management, very much and I think she does a super job. She listens to the residents. The caregivers are very helpful. The aides are wonderful; they always go over and beyond. They are very good for us.

I had supper with him and the food was really nice. I like his room because it's nice, clean and comfortable for him. When I visit him, sometimes you think people are outstanding just because family is there, but not there. Everyone is patient, nice and accommodating to the residents. Overall, it keeps me satisfied and keeps me from breaking down knowing he gets good food, good care and good cleaning, so what more can I ask for?

They have pretty good activities. My aunt doesn’t complain about it, that's the good thing. Transportation is fine and flexible, no problems with the consistency. The laundry is perfectly fine, so is housekeeping in the room. Maintenance is always right on top of everything. The management is readily available to answer questions. If I ever need something they always get back to me quickly. Overall, it’s s a beautiful place, and I know she is taken care of.

My mom has just been moved into Memory Care because the management has kept us up to date as to what was going on with her. Dining is absolutely great. Mom is at the point where she only eats when she sees food in front of her. So it's appetizing and someone in Memory Care prompts her to eat. There's always something going on, they work real hard at activities. I've had no qualms with housekeeping or laundry. The days they say they will do it, it's done. Maintenance seems to be always right up to snuff on keeping up the community. The care givers certainly keep track of her, they’re always right there. Every time I walk in the staff greets me. We’re very satisfied with the value; it's worked out very well for mom.

Management is doing a good job and it seems to be going quite well now. The waitstaff is wonderful and housekeeping is doing a very good job. I haven't gone in and felt like the place wasn't very neat and well tended to. As far as I know the transportation is just fine and the care has been good.

I've had the transportation services take my mom to the doctor and it worked out well. The dining and activites seem to be okay.

I chose this community for my husband because of the location and the availability. Management is satisfactory. The kitchen is really generous with the menu and lets you order both soup and a salad or two desserts. The servers read the menu to him because he is legally blind. I saw one waitress open the creamer for him because he struggles with that. Those are good things. They have a lot of activities at this community and the housekeeping is very good. The maintenance guy was very helpful and cooperative. The caregivers are very good. I have a good relationship with them and I think he is good with them. They seem to have a full understanding of where we are both coming from. They have been very encouraging and helpful.

I heard a lot of good things about it from people when I worked at the Y. I think management is very good, very personable, and my father seems to be very happy with the food. I think the activities wonderful because he's getting out and making friends. I think housekeeping is doing a great job and the healthcare staff have been very attentive, they've called me to bring things he needs so it makes me feel good that they're looking out for what he needs. They made it very easy.

I am so grateful that my mom is there. She does tell me that she feels safe and that is a plus. She enjoys the activities. I like the fact they play bingo. I see that they respond to people with maintenance requests very quickly . That is a positive as far as them taking care of things. It is excellent really.
