Sage Harbor at Baywinde

I think Sage Harbor at Baywinde does a good job because I am satisfied with the services and accommodations that are provided to me. Management can't do enough for us because one time I needed something done in my room and no sooner than I asked them, they're were here taking care of it, plus any time I have a problem, I can go up to the front desk and they tell me where to go, so it's really nice and I like that. With regards to activities, the community has exercise classes and walking classes, so I enjoy those because they're pretty good and the activity staff does very well. They're careful about what we do with what and the leaders are very nice, helping to make sure we're doing everything right. In terms of housekeeping, they come every day, vacuum and just clean everything real nice. I also try to keep it clean, but they're very good and when I meet them in the hallway sometimes, they'll ask if I need anything, so the people are very, very considerate. With maintenance, they do a wonderful job of maintaining the community. From the outside, I am very happy with the place and they have a couple of men that do a wonderful job with raking when it's nice outside, plus also shovel the snow. With care, I have to take certain pills and I used to have to do it all on my own with the chance of forgetting, but the healthcare staff is always right on time. In the morning, I receive certain pills and during the day, any time there is a chance to give me my pills, they're there, so they're just wonderful too. Also, the community takes us on Sundays to the Catholic Church via transportation services and picks us up. They also have scenic drives and I love going on those, but really they take you everywhere, so it's just wonderful and I love it, they really do a terrific job there as well. Overall, the community is terrific and all of the staff does a wonderful job.

I am satisfied with the services and accommodations that are provided by Sage Harbor at Baywinde. We haven't had problems with management, the food is likeable and both, variety of menu and dining service are satisfactory. With housekeeping services, it always seems tidy and everything always just seems clean, so their consistency has been satisfactory as well. Maintenance has been great too because they helped with hanging pictures, but they have always been very good. With regards to care, the staff there has been really great in that the aides are good and the Nurses are wonderful, so it's been a good experience and I have already recommended it to others.

I think it is well managed and things run well there. My mother loves the food and certainly gets enough. The dining staff is very attentive to her. There is a wide variety of activities and they are very engaging with the people that live there. They search them out if they know it is something they like to do. She has used the transportation for a couple of the scenic rides with activities and also for church on Sunday. Regarding the healthcare, the care staff is great at communication. They are easy to work with. We call them for medication when we are taking her out and they usually get her medications ready. They usually don't hesitate to call me if there is a question or problem.

We chose this location for our mother because of the location and she already had friends here. I have been satisfied with all of the departments a the community.

I chose this community for my mom because of the cleanliness, the closeness and how much it costs per month. My mom's apartment is very clean, the food looks pretty good to me and the servers seem pretty nice. I think the value is fair.

The size of the studio apartment is just perfect for mom. The food looks really good. I often go a lot when she is eating and the staff is very friendly. They try really hard to get them interacting with activities and not just sitting around. They have painting, bingo, people coming in and singing. They do the cleaning pretty well and it always smells good. The maintenance is pretty much on it. If her light goes out or isn't working they fix it. They upkeep the place very well. They decorate and everything is perfect. I love the nurses there. They are so on top of things it is crazy. They will call me when she has issues with things. They will come and help me get her out of my truck when I have trouble. I just love them to death. Yolanda, Diane and Keana are my favorites. They are really there for the residents.

I think the caregivers are great, and the management team is wonderful. The activities are pretty decent, there's things to do. There's bingo, rides out to dinner, and card games. The food quality is good, so are the dining room servers. Maintenance is great, and housekeeping does the job you want them to. I’m safe, satisfied with my apartment, and I’m comfortable, so I would say the price is fair for the service I get.

I find everything pleasant here at Sage Harbor, everything is nice. The meals are very good. The preparation is good, the food is good, the menu is varied, and the wait staff is also very good. I had a fall and I got good attention from the caregivers. They took me to the hospital and I'm doing fine. They're clean and good, and they fix everything, it's good. Everything is in good order in the community, and anything I complain about maintenances fixes right away. The activities are very good. The staff that runs them is pleasant and good and I like what they're doing. I painted some pictures, they're all up. The apartment is a good size, it's good. Housekeeping, cleaning and laundry, is also very good, everything's good here.

My mother-in-law wasn't very happy with coming in to Sage Harbor at Baywinde, but management brought a lot of people to try and encourage her, so that was all very good. We're satisfied with the accommodations provided to her at the community, she feels safe and comfortable to be there. My husband has been there during the morning for breakfast and he sees how the staff manages to move her, so they have been very helpful and the dining experience seems to be going well. Her laundry services are satisfactory and when she moved in, maintenance had to fix the door, but the guy was very good with that. She uses the transportation service to go to the store, lunch or even sometimes just go for rides and that all seems to be very good. The healthcare staff is personable with the residents who live there, knowing everyone's names, talking to them and making sure everything is going ok, so overall it's been a good experience for my mother.

Management has been pretty good and from what I've seen the dining staff and the food looks good as well. My mom has used the bus once or twice to go to Applebee's for dinner. The staff is very encouraging to get my mom out on trips. Yolanda, my mom's caregiver is great. Yolanda has always been good at keeping on top of things.
