Sage Harbor at Baywinde

I'm so happy here. Everyone is so nice, I couldn't ask for anything more, I would recommend it to all my friends. I do have to have medicine twice a day, and one time a day for a separate medicine, they are here on time to ensure I get it. Everyone here is just wonderful; I can't say a bad thing about any of them. I don't ask for much, but I get what I ask for. The girls that I see every week and they do a good and thorough job every week. They come every day and check on my room every day. I haven't been participating in much, but what I did was good. I'm a bit crippled right now so I don't get around much anymore, but I can't say anything negative about the activities I see here. From the few times I've seen the management staff; I can only say good things. They've taken care of everything that I've needed and have always been pleasant. They say hello whenever they see me. I'm just very happy.

The personable attention they gave my father was excellent, it seems like they really cared about his well-being. He liked them; you know it was like they were friends. It just seemed like the caretakers were there for us and there for him, just extremely personable people. I might just add that there are a number of caregivers and nursing staff that are going to attend his service in August; so that's how good it was. I'd say housekeeping was very adequate and they kept to their schedule which I think was important. The laundry was picked up and delivered when they said it would be, and it was clean. They did a good job with apartment cleaning. I did see an activities calendar and it seemed like there were a number of things there. I cannot say enough good things.

I think the caretakers are very good. They're responsive and respectful. The maintenance department always takes care of things right away, within the same day. It's very well managed, I like them. They do a great job here I think the staff are very knowledgeable and approachable. I think they do a great job with the activities. Rachel, the Director, takes care of the activities and she does a great job. I really enjoyed the people that came in to sing. My housekeeping and laundry has been excellent. I really can't complain!

The management staff is very helpful and very informative. They got back to us right away with any questions we had. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The quality of food and menu are wonderful. There is certainly a lot offered every day for the residents to do. Things are wonderful there. They are very attentive. Everything is very clean and they are right on time with doing my mom's laundry. They bring it back and put it away for her. The building is beautiful. The care givers are very attentive and very personable. They know the residents by name and treat them with a lot of respect.

My son takes care of the value, but I haven't had any need to check out how they handle concerns, I'm so happy here. I would feel comfortable talking to management. The food is very, very good. There's a lot of entertainment that goes on. When I got here everything was ready, it was all practically done for me. I'm happy they're taking good care of me. I'm 100% satisfied; the caregivers are very, very nice. I'm doing just great. I'm very happy here. I have wonderful friends here and am very well situated. Everything here is excellent; I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Most of the time things go relatively smoothly whenever there is an issue. The variety of food is very good. The people that work in the dining room are very accommodating. There are tons of activities. They are offering activities every hour every day. The maintenance guys are great. The facility is excellent. There are no odors. The nurses are very nice, the gal at the reception desk is very nice and the hairdresser is very nice. They all know my mom's little quirks. They are very quick to tell me when something is going on with my mom. They know me and know that I am my mom's daughter. I am ninety percent pleased. Every so often a little thing pops up or I hear something from her, but that is rare.

We feel good about my mother being there. The price compared to other places is a good value. There is good communication. They have changed some of the menu items and they give them a choice if there's something they don't like. There are plenty of options of things for her to do. My mother is happy with the cleaning. She will press her button for help when needed and the caregivers come right away. They bring her pills in a timely manner. They make sure she gets them early on Sunday so she can go to church. It has been a good experience.

We had looked around and I think for what my father-in-law's doing and getting, it's good for the price. We've actually recommended it already. It's just been very nice. The care staff is really good. It is nice to know someone is there checking on him getting his meds and taking care of him. Erin has been wonderful. The dining has been wonderful. It was good and our first day there they invited us to eat with them. They were wonderful. It's been good; he's been much more involved and going to different things. They have music, a reptile man comes, and they’ve had different things which he has enjoyed.

I've been quite happy here. I'm quite comfortable. It's a well-kept facility. The staff is friendly. If you need them, they're very helpful. The facility is spotless and everything seems to function. Every Thursday the housekeepers do the vacuuming, change the sheets, and pick up the laundry basket. They clean everything. The food was very good. It was varied every day. I'm very pleased with the food. I got the flyer and it looked like it had a lot of interesting things for seniors to do. Every day they had something going on. It's very safe. They have an elevator that goes between the two stories.

It's very nice and the cost is good for the facility. The staff is very approachable and nice. Even my mother has said the staff is very friendly and approachable. So far Rachel is doing really well, she reorganized the activities room and is really trying. It seems to me that what's on the sheet is being done. We're pretty darned satisfied I'd say.
