Saranac Village at Will Rogers

Management does so much for us and the dining is wonderful. The food is well thought out, we get a good balanced died and the service is superb. The activities are wonderful and housekeeping does an excellent job of taking care of my apartment. This community is very beautiful and it has a lot of windows. It is wonderful. This community is worth every single nickel and I am awfully lucky to be here because I am safe and comfortable. This is a wonderful place and nobody can do wrong by coming here. I am a happy camper.

The activities are great. You have a choice if you want to come out and enjoy the activity you can. If it isn't to your liking you can stay in your apartment. There is always plenty to do. Houskeeping will do something special if you want it done. They come at the same time so you know when to expect them and do a good job every week. I am really glad that I am here.

They give you more than enough to eat, take care of your room, laundry, whatever. There has never been a problem with the transportion and the vehicles are like brand new. The place is always well kept. There is always something to do here at Will Rogers. You can always find an activity to do. I think they do a great job. I am satisfied with what I am getting.

I had a very good experience at Will Rogers and I would recommend it highly to someone who is looking for that kind of living. I thought it was very good for the price. Management does really good at what they do. They are up to date on things. They can always point you in the right direction when you have questions about the place. They are very pleasant, kind, and helpful. The food is excellent and I must say that I was surprised about that because in institutional settings, it is rare to have food that delicious. The servers were wonderful. Nathan was the server at our table and he always had everything right. He was very good and above and beyond.I didn't do a lot of the activities but I did always attend the exercise class. Diane did that and it was terrific. It was done seated so that anyone could do it. She allowed you to work at the level you were comfortable and it was a good workout. I went to see some of the movies. Everything I went to do, I was very happy about. The window was leaking air and Tom came up and took care of it with some caulking. He came within a day of being asked, it was fixed, and I never had the north wind coming in again. I thought the building was maintained very well. Tammy was my housekeeper and she was very kind and sweet. She worked quickly and did a very nice job.

With some of the places I had seen, there is no comparison for what you get here. You don't have to go out and buy food, which is fantastic, and they clean the room and do your laundry. They are more than pleasant. I cannot say enough nice things about it. My daughter brings her friends in and shows them around, and they are all impressed and can't believe this place exists. The transportation service will take you anywhere you want to go. It is consistent, and I haven't had a problem with it at all. We go out to eat once a month, and that is fun. If I have a maintence problem, I just call the maintenance man and say what it is, and he will come and fix it. I love the condition of the building. This is absolutely gorgeous. The grounds are even taken care of. My housekeeping has been great. She comes every Friday morning and strips the bed and does the sheets and towels. The activities are very good. They have more that enough here to keep you busy if you are interested in doing that. I love all of the meals. I love getting my menu and making my choice. I especially love that fact that I don't have to go shop for food, cook it, or clean up. Jamie and everybody on manaegment was helpful. Everybody is great. There is not a soul here that has not done everything they could to make sure I am happy here. I am very happy here. Everything is just perfect to me. It is like a family.

The management is perfect here. They all get together good, and they go out of their way and they are very genuine. I fell in the kitchen a month ago, and in less then five minutes, five people came through the door to come help. I can find no fault here. They are wonderful. I am very satisfied. Jamie is doing a good job. The food is excellent, and the cooking is good. The housekeeping does a good job coming in and cleaning up. The shower is sparkling when they are through. The clothes come back, and nothing is torn or burned or anything like that. The maintenance is doing good. If you need something done, they are there in 15 minutes or less. Whenever I go out, I tell people how great Will Rogers is.

I feel they are accessible and responsive when you report issues. There is a lot of activities for all residents. They take the laundry out of my room before lunch and is usually back before dinner. I think housekeeping is good. Overall, the staff is just so friendly. They are able to relay messages for you and are just as helpful as they can be. I have never had anyone ever be nasty with me or walk away from me or any of the other residents. I recommend this community highly to anybody who needed that little extra meals or houskeeping assistance.

Management is very friendly and helpful. They greet us every day and are very kind and compassionate. If I have any kind of problem, they resolve it as quickly as possible, and if I wish to speak to anyone, I am in their office within minutes. The food is fantastic because we don't have to prepare it or clean up. There are always two choices for dinner, you can get a sandwich at lunch, and they have a cereal bar at breakfast. The dining service is excellent. The activities are fantastic, and you have quite a selection of activities. I go to breakfast at 7, and by the time I get back, my laundry has been taken down and my apartment is clean. Housekeeping is very efficient and fast. My laundry always makes it back before lunch. I would say that I am getting a bargain. It is fantastic for what I am getting.

The management is great. They make you feel like you are at home, and they have your best interest at heart. It is very good food, and the service is also very good. There is always something to do here if you want to do it. I use the laundry, and they do a very good job. It is always clean, and it is on a regular basis. The maintenance is absolutely great. I needed someone to find me a lightbulb today, and they did.

I enjoy living here because it is like an instant community or family. I moved up here not knowing anybody. I haven't been dissappointed. It is a nice place to live if you can afford it. I would like to live here the rest of my life. Jamie the executive director takes a genuine interest in our complaints. There are so many things going on. They have concerts, shows and parties. The housekeeping is perfect. They are very attentive. Once a week, they do the housekeeping and the laundry. I feel absolutely safe here. The price is certainly worth the service.
