The Sheridan at Chesterfield

We chose the community for my mother because we liked the people, facility and cleanliness. It was just a couple of steps above the others. Everything looks nice and the maintenance staff, in addition to the Director, helped her setup the television. They make her bed every day and then someone comes weekly to do a thorough clean. She has done some of the arts & crafts as well as other activity programs and she likes them. She likes the food and they have a variety with fresh fruit, which is something she likes. The management is kind, knowledgeable, do what they say they're going to do and follow up. She feels safe and comfortable. Overall, they're doing a great job.

The care staff is very good at overseeing my mother's condition. Whenever there is something of concern, they call me. In terms of transportation, when they do outings and go to the local stores, the drivers are extremely courteous and friendly. I have no problems with the maintenance of the facility either, and my mother's accommodations are extremely good. The head of the activities department is very interactive with the residents. They come up with many different activities to engage them. The food is excellent. I would absolutely recommend the community to everyone.

She likes her room. It is a nice size and her bathroom is a nice size. She can get in and out of the shower. All the accommodations are there. I like it, it is good. It is a nice facility and it seems to run smoothly. The food is pretty good. They have options you can choose if you don't like what the main meal is. The activities are good. They do keep her room clean and the facility is always clean when I've been there. Everything seems to be working. I have not seen any problems with maintenance. The nurses are good and they are good about getting the medication to residents.

The care was good. Maintenance tried to keep everything at a high level. I think the housekeepers did the best they could to keep up with my brother. I think the dining service is good. Management is trying to do their best for my brother.

In regards to the dining, the food is pretty good service, and there is always something that will accommdate her taste buds. The maintenance staff is very good. I think the building is spotless. I am very pleased with the appearance. We are very pleased with the staff there. She is very safe in this community.

Everything in management has been great. The dining service is good. The maintenance man was very helpful when we moved in. The activities are good. The housekeeping has been great. The caregivers here are just great.

The management has done really well and the care services are great. They offer a number of activities, there is something always going on. There is no hidden fees or extra charges compared to other places.

If someone can afford to be here, the value is satisfactory. Everything has been really good. There are lots of CNAs around, and I can always get to one. If I give a proper notice, I never have a problem in arriving where I need to go. The vehicle is new. The maintenance director is around all the time checking out or fixing things, and the building looks excellent. It's fairly new at about two years old. The housekeeping always gets done, and it's either once a week or whenever I ask. The activity director is outstanding and has a lot of things going on. There are very well planned activities. The dining and wait service is very good. All in all, I feel safe and comfortable. I haven't seen anything derogatory.

Mom's been there a year and a half and we're really happy. The dining room servers are really nice and the food is mostly good and the activities are good. Her apartment is the perfect size. The laundry they do is good and her room is always clean, and maintenance is very responsive. Management also seems really responsive. The nurses are great, nice and helpful when you need. Overall we're happy and I think it's a good value.

The management staff, particularly Denise and Carmen will sit down and talk with me about any issues that may come up. Similarly, the housekeeping staff and the maintenance staff are very helpful and respectful. The activities director is wonderful, and the staff in the dining room is as well. Overall, I would recommend the community.
