The Sheridan at Cooper City

The value my sister in law is getting there is better than she would have gotten at any of the other places. The room is nice and we are pleased with it. I think she would say the food is outstanding. It is as good as any restaurant you can go to around there and get. The staff has been great. The activities staff has tried and has been encouraging to get her to attend the activities.

The management is very pleasant. They are respectful and everybody is friendly.It is small enough that you get more of a homey feel then an institutional feel.

I chose this community for my Aunt because the people were very nice and friendly and there was a nice outside area for her to sit it.

We are very happy. My mom loves the food. Most of the nurses are wonderful. I am very grateful for what they do. I would highly recommend it. I already told my mom's doctor and she is telling her people. We are very happy. I researched when I got there and it was between the Sheridan and another place. She has a lake view and my mom loves the ocean and the water. God brought me there. It is not perfect but we are very happy.

I think I am getting the services I am paying for. Management has been very good to me and have always followed through. There is one person there, Christie the receptionist, who I can always go to and she gets things done. She is happy, smiling and in a good mood. She calls you by name. She is amazing. This community is always spotless and looks good. You don't see broken things hanging around.

No one does things perfectly, but The Sheridan at Cooper City comes pretty darn close with their care for my mother. We had researched a number of homes for mom, but the atmosphere here is a head and shoulders above the rest. They get to know the residents, as well as families, and I feel that mom is taken care of. They're responsive and concerned for her wellbeing.

The staff is respectful, knowledgeable and just much better there than they are at a lot of communities. They provide activities at the community, which are terrific. There is a variety of things on-site and they have things where they take the residents out to experience, such as plays and restaurants, so it gives the residents a chance to get out. my mom likes the socialization of the dining room just as much as the food. I have a lot of friends with aging parents and I mention The Sheridan quite frequently.

Management is really interested in their residents and the people that come to visit. The management staff is really friendly people and they really care about the people that live there. The food is good and the servers are all really nice. There are a variety of activities available if the resident is interested. Everyone in the healthcare department was fantastic. They would respond immediately if we had any questions. Maintenance is very good and the building is fairly new. It's a nice place and they take good care of their residents. The staff is really concerned with their people.

This community is clean, neat and everybody is nice. I like that everyone is all contained in one building and not spread out among different buildings. There is always something going on at this community and the staff is entertaining. They are trying really hard. My dad goes to exercise in the morning. Tamara comes and gets him and wheels him down for that which is good. The housekeeping is okay. His place is always cleaned nicely. His bed is made and his laundry is done. Everything always looks nice and in order. It is very good. To the outside person everything looks fine and whenever I go, everything seems to be in working order. Every now and then his TV goes on the fritz and someone comes and fixes it for him. The caregivers are very good. They come in, get him showered and dressed. They take care of him and are very efficient and nice. They are accessible and responsive to him. Management is very attentive. Whenever we have an issue we contact them and they get right back to us. Stacy is wonderful.

They offer good activities. The maintenance staff is good about coming to fix the TV almost immediately after I ask. The transportation service and the driver are just great. In terms of healthcare, I think they take wonderful care of my mother-in-law.
