The Sheridan at Creve Coeur

The staff was very, very good to my mother. They were very attentive, communicated well with families and they were wonderful to her. They were handling the COVID situation excellently. Everything was always clean and there was never a smell in the building. The activities people were great. The food was always good, it was served in a timely way and the residents had choice. She was content. Individually, everyone there was top notch.

We've talked about the Sheridan to a lot of people. I talked about it at my church and just told people how happy we were with it. The director of nursing is always very open. She respond to any questions we have right away. If my mom needs something, she responds quickly. With housekeeping, things are always nice. I think they do a nice job with the dining. My mom always eats everything on her plate, and everything looks very good. From what I've seen, it's very nice. The director of memory care has gone aboce and beyond trying to make my mom feel comfortable there at the Sheridan. She's just an extraordinary person. I just feel that it's just a lovely place, and the people treat my mom so well.

Based on what my dad's needs are right now, I feel like we are getting as good as we can get in the geographic area. I feel he is safe and cared for. When I need people, they are responsive to me. I think the staff in the activities department does their best.

The building itself is grand, beautiful and always in immaculate upkeep. I have never been there to where the room wasn't in nice shape, and they do a good job with getting clothing laundered before bringing it back. When my sister first went in, for how nice the community was, it was nicer than her previous community and less expensive. We're impressed because they have a chef and they showed us the menu, which seems very nice. Overall, she feels safe, comfortable and my experience has been very good. This was the first place that we were able leave her long enough to where she could settle, and it has really changed everything because we can tell she is happy now. She was in three different communities before this place, but we feel like we finally found the spot.

I am very pleased with the Sheridan. They have really nice staff. They have it all decorated so pretty for Christmas with lights. It is very warm. The other thing that I like about the facility is that it is not huge. It feels more like a family, and it is smaller. It feels more like individual care. The person that we interacted with the most was Jill on the sales team. She is really nice. Everybody there is very nice, including the lady at the front desk. They have an outstanding staff. There are a couple of things that I like. For example, I like that they have an app so I can see what is going on. The activities director, Naomi, is really nice. The cleaning is excellent. Everything looks really, really good. We got a headboard delivered, and the maintenance man put it on her bed, which is really going beyond what I expected. The head nurse is Alexandria, and she is super, super nice. I feel like they are doing a really nice job with my mom.

I feel like the community is worth what I am paying and I am satisfied with the accommodations my mother receives. I haven't had anything break in the apartment and the cleaning in her room is amazing. They have people who come in to sing that she loves and they also sometimes have animals come in or they'll take them on rides to see leaves, which I just think is awesome. The dining service when I visit my mother is satisfactory. The management is friendly, considerate and they really care for the families. All in all, I see people who have a gift, like their job and it makes me feel good leaving.

I think the management overall does a good job over there. They have a good rapport with the residents. Whenever I have an issue, it is resolved pretty quickly. When I am there at mealtime, they give them variety of meals. I don't see the same thing. The serving staff is really nice. I think the housekeeping and laundry do a good job. His room is kept clean, and they change is bedding whenever he needs it. It is a fairly new building, and it is kept up. It is still very nice inside. Everytime I go there, he has a good relationship with all of the care providers up there. He can kid back and forth with them, and they all know him and joke with him, so it seems like a very friendly atmosphere. I am as satisfied as I can be. We have recommended it already.

I looked at other communities before I moved her here, and for the same price, the quality of management, staff and the building weren't nearly as nice as they are here. The variety and quality of the food is just excellent, and they offer a wide variety of activities here. Housekeeping has always been excellent, and her room and bathroom are always clean. I think her apartment is wonderful. The square footage and the quality is very good. Maintenance is excellent and high quality. I have only asked for one or two things to be done, and they were very quick. I admire the nurses tremendously. They offer a wide variety of activities.

I think the staff makes the difference, and that is what makes it outstanding. I just thought management were very caring and attentive. The laundry and housekeeping come in a timely manner. They are excellent. The food quality is good. The care staff are accessible and responsive. Just outstanding.

They really seem to care and want to help make it the best place for her. They keep the room clean, It's wonderful. Every time she needs to go some place she gets there with the transportation provided. I am very pleased with the place. They seem to really like her.
