The Sheridan at Creve Coeur

I am pleased that my parents are in a good place. From the bottom up to managers, there are great people. I like that's a smaller capacity community. If I have concerns I can always find someone and ask. I can sleep at night now knowing they're both safe, it's worth it.

There was really friendly reception and he felt comfortable when he visited, the reception was so warm. The management communication has been really good. He loves the food, it is high quality and healthy.

I chose this community because it was new and I liked the accommodations, the staff and the location. All of the offices that I've dealt with have been outstanding to work with. Management really cares. The healthcare seems to be very good as well. It's nice that they bring in activities for the people to do.

I chose the community because of the size being smaller and it had a good reputation. I'm extremely impressed with the management. Housekeeping really does a great job and maintenance is immediate. Justin who runs that whole thing, is awesome, he's great. Everybody has just been over and above, very quick about getting back to me, getting answers if they don't have it right away, I just feel very confident about management.

I just liked the feel of the place and the people that I met. They seemed nice, capable and we figured it was the best fit for her personality. So far, the healthcare staff seems very good. Her room seems clean and her laundry gets done. The Executive Chef does a great job and it's all well presented.

The management staff seemed to know her and they seemed to know all the residents and what is going on. They were always available. They had a lot of good activities. I don't remember any work orders but if we needed anything the management would come right away. They were very efficient. The care givers knew her and knew what she needed and if she needed any special way of dealing with her. They did a good job.

Management was very good, they made it go very smoothly and moved it right along. I like the dining area and everything seems to be kept up in the hall. As far as I know she's been getting everything she's needed and I think the aide care is improving, they're learning my mom. Overall, I feel that she's safe there.

I think this community is very safe. My dad can't get off the second floor and they keep a good eye on them. I think it is a well-run place and I have been really happy with it. They serve really nice meals for the residents. It seems like they get a good variety and the residents are well fed. Most of the time, the residents are in some sort of activity whether it is a sing along, trivia or puzzles. They try to keep them busy most of the time. The building is pretty well up to date and the caregivers are friendly. They know my dad's quirks and they joke around with him. He jokes back. They do a really nice job with him.

The reputation and the programming is why we chose this community but it was also something that was within budget for him. Everyone was fabulous. The day of admission, the executive director, director of marketing, the director of memory care and the health and wellness coordinator all stayed until he was admitted at 6:45pm on a Monday night, it was so nice. Throughout his whole stay the healthcare staff was all very good. The day of the discharge the staff had all of his paperwork and medications ready. Everyone was on top of their game and willing to work with us. The activities program is great. The chef was wonderful and everyone was very patient and they took their time with the residents. It's very affordable both in St. Louis and in Pittsburgh.

I think the management does a great job. They are really good about communicating. I think the staff does a really wonderful job. Whenever I have had a concern it has been addressed properly. They really have a nice variety of activities. The people that do the activities with the residents are very loving and caring and well trained for the populations that they are working with. The dining staff is wonderful and they are very respectful of all the residents. They really pay attention to what their favorites are. The food is delicious. My mother really enjoys the food. One of the things that I thought was really exceptional last year and this year was that the staff did a Thanksgiving meal which was really wonderful because it enabled the family to have a Thanksgiving opportunity with her. I think they get real good care there. I think the nurses are very attentive to her. I have raised concerns and they have been real good about calling and following up. They have been really loving with my mother. I think the care team there is wonderful.
