The Sheridan at Green Oaks

My mom has lived at The Sheridan at Green Oaks for about one month now and it is very nice. The building is only one year old so it's lovely and new. All of the management staff are very nice. They have a lot of good activities for the residents to choose from. My mom even suggested a new activitiy and they're putting it in the works, I thought that was very nice of them to consider that. My mom seems very happy there.

Kevin was the guy we initially contacted and helped us set up the rental and my aunt move and it was great. They have been fantastic. I think they're excellent. They moved that and hung some shelves and she's very happy. It was done quickly and efficiently. The maintenance guy was really nice so I think that's great. It's beautiful, it's brand new. It's very nice, it's beautiful. I think the activities are amazing. When I go, there's a whole list of things posted for the day and my aunt uses a lot of them. I've already recommended it to a few people.

The Head Nurse is so on top of everything and has been really good helping us navigate some issues. The care has just been excellent. The people in the management office have been good to deal with for the most part. We haven't had any concerns in regards to the housekeeping or maintenance of my friend's room. Overall, I think the community presents itself really well.

My daugher went to quite a few facilities and we both agreed this was perfect for my husband and his experience there has been good. I had him in day care and then he moved in and he's happy there. I've already recommended it to a few people. He likes most of the activities and he's been busy. I think it's very good. He likes dining and it looks good. The management just works with him and they seem to understand what's going on. I've been working with Laura, who's head of it, and she's done a wonderful job taking care of things. For my husband, it has been perfect.

I live the Independent Living and my husband lives in the Assited Living here at The Sheridan. We chose here because it was recommended by a friend. They help my husband with the laundry in his room and with his care. So far both of those have been good. The management has done really well. I use the transportation to go on outings and enjoy that. I would definitely recommend it here.

It was just by far the best place we could have put our mom. Everybody was friendly, the residents looked happy and said they liked the place, they just blew us away with what they had to offer and what was there. I would not hestiate in recommending the Sheridan. The staff there and the sales are friendly and nice and helpful. They're very attentive to any questions or concerns we've had. The Director and Sales people I've had contact with have all been pleasant. I went to a music therapy event and it was just phenomenal, the people they had coming in to do that just engaged all the residents and were friendly, it was nice. Every time we go and talk to the people and see how they interact with my mom and care for her, it's just been a very pleasant experience.

It's beautiful. It's fresh looking and furnished nicely in the public areas and outside is beautiful. There are floor to ceiling windows and you're looking out at a park, it's lovely. They have wonderful specials and their menu is very good. We ahven't gotten into the activities yet, but they look good. Everyone here has been wonderful, helpful, and so friendly.

I'm very impressed with the people that work here, that's what really runs the whole engine, is the people that are here. The best part is that my uncle is happy here and that eases my mind. They know my uncle and what he needs; they're very patient with him. They have always been there for me or my uncle when we had issues or questions. The management staff has always been there for me or my uncle when we had issues or questions. They're very responsive to whatever we need and extremely friendly people.
The nurses, Sherry specifically, are very caring and attentive. They know my uncle and what he needs; they're very patient with him. Blessing, a tech here, is an incredibly good person, again just caring. Same with Nicole, I think the Director of Nursing Services here. It seems like she cares very much about my uncle and tries to go the extra step to make sure he's happy and take care of him. I feel like they care about everyone that lives there. He was in a nursing home before coming here and the level of care is so much better here than what he got in a nursing home. I'm very happy with it.

The management has been great there whenever we have a question, they're helpful. The building always looks great. My mom does go down to the movies every now and again and goes on some of the outings and she likes that. The dining staff has been great. My dad is a very picky eater and has a low-salt diet and they're good about it. It has been great; the management team is even getting them a two bedroom.

It's the friendliest place around, I wholeheartedly recommend it. We really know and recognize what a good job the staff does. The place is fantastic but what makes it work is the staff. It's fantastic. The food itself is better than most other places that we've observed and experienced. The activities are off the charts. They're creative! People come in and play music. The staff is highly skilled, they've had doctors in, and all kinds of people come in for activities. They show movies and do everything. We're always amazed at what a great array of services they have. They go out on walks and have a beautiful area for walking, it's very nicely landscaped. The management team is always accessible and available and they seem to truly care. The peace of mind is worth it but only because the staff is so good, attentive and on top of it. I don't think it's out of line with everything else that's out there for the services offered. The place is just fantastic!
