The Sheridan at Lakewood Ranch

The management has met our needs as much as anyone could possbily imagine. They have a great attitude and they see that we are very comfortable and as happy as we can be under the circumstances. In regards to the dining, they have gone above and beyond in making our meals appetizing and as tasteful as they could possibly do and have as much variety as they could possibly do. They have a lot of snacks and things like that. During the quarantine, they are trying really hard and are putting in the effort to keep us busy with activities. The housekeepers always do a good job and the girls are always conscientious.They have made an extra effort to always keep things clean in the bathroom and the kitchen. Maintenance is wonderful and the two guys we have here are terrific. Anything that I have needed they have gotten done. The care givers have been really diligent on taking our temperatures and whenever I have had a question for a nurse it has been handled very efficiently. I feel very at home here and the people here are wonderful. The staff from top to bottom is great and I have not had a bad experience at all.

Everything that I have seen has been really good thus far. Every question I have asked management has been answered right away. They don't have to find the answers and come back to me. Everything has gone smoothly which makes me think they all know their jobs. That is reassuring. The dining area is very nice, clean and homey and my mother says the food is pretty good. The staff knows her when she walks in and they say hi and are right there to get her something to drink. There are plenty of activities to do here. Whenever I am there people are doing things and seem to be enjoying themselves. Her apartment is very comfortable and suits her needs. It is very tidy and clean and housekeeping puts her clean laundry away for her. The med techs, nurses and aides all seem very friendly and helpful. They are patient and considerate. I think the price is fair compared to other places that I looked at. We are happy there.

The management is excellent, they informed me and the way they conducted the initial move in process was very good. Everything was followed through so well. Robert will be there the next second you put any orders in. There's nothing out of place at the facility in the building.

My mother feels safe, comfortable and I am satisfied with the accommodations she receives at the community. The management is efficient when I have questions and they do a fine job with being helpful. The healthcare staff seem professional and they should be pleased with the jobs they're doing. The building looks pretty good and if you have a maintenance request, you're well accommodated. The activities are good, well planned and they try hard, having a lot of functions for the residents. I am satisfied with the laundry services. Overall, they're doing a pretty good job.

The management was excellent, specifically James, who was in charge of all the aides and nursing staff. James and Courtney are amzing human beings. They are good leaders, good managers, and good people. It is like a big family there. Brenda who was the food service director was outstanding. It is not five star dining, but the food was very good. The server and Brenda came to her funeral services. They were amazing. The activities themselves were very good and there was a lot of them. The housekeeping and laundry was excellent. The laundry came back every week on hangers neat and clean and sorted by color. From the moment my mother-in-law moved in, she had her TV installed and hung before she physically arrived. The furniture was in place and pictures were hung. The apartment was very nice. It was very well cared for. The maintenance staff doesn't let things go. The building is five or six years old, and it looks like it was just built. It is neat, clean, organized, and nicely decorated in the common areas. The units are very nice. They went above and beyond. My mother-in-law had very special aides and nurses. They were very engaged in her care. The staff, from James on down, did a great job. This facility is as perfect as they come.

Kelly in management does a pretty good job of addressing immediate needs. The dining staff is incredible and awesome. They are super folks. The quality of the food seems to be outstanding, and anytime I have been there, it has been really nice. My father is a type one diabetic, and his dietary needs have been met. Housekeeping does a pretty good job, and maintenance does a really good job. They seem to respond very quickly. Their apartment seems to be just fine, and the building is very nice.

She is satisfied overall with the activities. The staff has been very convenient to work with and have helped me deal with the insurance company. There have been no problems with the care, and I have had no problems with the management.

Management is awesome, and most of the staff really work hard and take an interest in my dad and his care. They make his life better. The caregivers do a great job. The food is delicious, and I love that they have a variety of food. I also love that they do special things and events with them, such as having crackers and shrimp in the afternoon. They do special things that make the residents feel special. Every time I am here, the residents are painting and playing bingo. They have people come in and sing, and they have things for men. They take them to museums, out to eat, and to hair cuts. They try to engage them in different activities. The building looks good, and the maintenance man is on it. If I need anything, he will come right away. They do a great job, and I think this is a great place. Overall, I have been really pleased with how they care for my dad.

I tell everybody. It's just a great place. The people that work there are so personable. They know you. They communicate with you. It's a wonderfully run facility, and I could not be happier.There are a few nurses that I love. They are very helpful. The transportation service is great. Everything in the building is beautiful. It's fabulous. Whenever I go to their apartment, it's clean, the bed is always made, and the laundry is done. The activities are wonderful. They have lots of things to do. I think they work really hard on having lots of things to do for the people that are able and want to be out of the their apartments and doing things. I love all of the staff. They listen. They help you solve problems. I don't know how we fell into this place. I tell everybody what a great place this is, and I looked everywhere. I don't think any place compares with the whole overall picture of the Sheridan. I think they're wonderful. I've recommended tons of people who have moved there. I think the place is fabulous. I'm extremely happy with almost every aspect of it.

Things are going very well for us at the community. We feel safe and comfortable. The building is kept up, and the apartment maintenance is satisfactory. The housekeeping is done very nicely, and we participate in the activity we're interested in. The management staff interacts with the residents, and everything is in order. Overall, we're very happy here and I would definitely recommend the community to others.
