The Sheridan at Mason

I am very pleased with The Sheridan. I have been very impressed with Candy and Tiffany. They have stayed on top of things during the Coronavirus. They have been very proactive during this situation. They are led by a nurse and she has been on top of things from the beginning. My mother is probably getting more health attention there than she would anywhere else. They take their temperatures twice a day and makes sure there is no sign of the virus. Anytime she has asked for assistance they have been right there.

I am happy. It is beautiful at the community. The care and nursing is great with my father. They treat them with such dignity and listen to the residents. Chris in maintenance does a great job. I have never had to wait when I needed something. He was good about helping my dad get moved in there and getting things set up. The activities are very good. The residents are treated with respect. It is amazing they get a choice and they are good to them. They have all of the patience in the world trying to help them make decisions. I don't have anything negative to say, it has been a great experience.

Everybody has been very helpful and informative. We are getting emails every so often so we don't feel like we are out of the loop. Management was very helpful and walked through everything with me. They explained everything I was not sure about. I only ate there once and the food was great to me. She is participating in some of the activities. Right now it's a little different because of the pandemic, but when I look at the calendar, they have stuff going on and movies every night. She said they have Bingo. Even today she said they got them out to do an exercise class.

The driver for the transportation services is very nice. He'll take my grandma wherever she wants to go. The maintenance manager is exceptional, and he has gone above and beyond on really everying. In addtion, the building looks beautiful and it's very well maintained. My grandma likes the laundry services, and they do a great job with the housekeeping. The management teaem is really responsive and caring.

I felt all of the caregivers really cared for my mom and that was impressive to me. Also, any time we asked maintenance to come and do something they took care of it right away.

Management does a pretty good job. The activities director does a good job of including my mother, even though she has Alzheimer's. She doesn't always remember to sign up for the activities. Everything here seems like it is clean and everything seems to work as it is supposed to. The building is in excellent condition. The caregivers do a good job. They call me when there is an issue. The food is good.

Overall, I am pleased. It is a beautiful facility and probably the best we can get at this point. We enjoy the trips out to lunch and going to different things. It is great to have the van to go to lunch and the movies. We enjoy the entertainment. I appreciate the housekeeping and I think they do a very good job. The maintenance man has been great. He is a good guy.

The management is outstanding and very communicative. They are easy to get a hold of and very visable. There are plenty of activities to choose from, and the director, Ally, is fantastic. The housekeeping and laundry are great, as well as the maintenance. In regards to the care, they are more than happy to do anything you need. The transportation is perfect. The building is absolutely beautiful. They are wonderful, and they do everything for her that she needs, and for less than half the price of where she was before.

My mom is gaining weight, and she seems to like the food. The care staff call me as soon as there is an increase in her medicine or a concern. They do good at notifying us. The head of memory care responds right away if I have any questions.

I'd say the care staff is respectful. Whenever I call, they're always respectful to me. I think they're accessible. If she needs something, the maintenance man with bring it. I think the building is beautiful. They do the laundry and fold it for her, and that's big help. There are things she can do, and she does do the activities there. I think Ally, the acitivities director, is a gift to that place. They have a little happy hour and they have entertainment. They have some good variety on the menu. I've eaten there several times, and it's pretty good. She likes the food. I think the dining service is very good. They're nice to the people, and they do a good job of getting what they need. They use their name and everything. She feels safe and she likes it. It's very clean and it's very upbeat. It's a nice environment when you walk in the building.
