The Sheridan at Mason

The management is polite, and they seem to always have an answer for things. The young lady that takes care of the activities is just awesome. My mom seems very pleased with the activities. There is a wide variety of activities for all levels, not just for those that are ambulatory, but also for those who are in wheelchairs or have canes. They get everybody engaged. Housekeeping does a very good job. They come in and vacuum and dust and clean. The maintenance were very receptive. They came up and took care of the issue right away. I think the building looks very nice. The nurses are excellent. They are working diligently to take care of the residents there. They are always available.

I am very blessed that my mother was able to live in this community. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable, the property was well-maintained and clean, and the activities offered engaging experiences for my mother and the other residents. I was very content with all this community had to offer.

Everyone here works together as a team and the caregivers are very good. They have a wide variety in the menu and the service is very good. The staff encouraged her to try some of the activities which she did. Management is on the spot whenever we call and the grounds are very pretty. We couldn't be any more pleased and are very happy here. It feels like family here and after a couple of days she felt at home.

We stayed for respite, but the community is absolutely beautiful and management was fabulous. The housekeeping was perfect, everything was clean as far as his room and I thought the food was great. It was wonderful and the staff was nice, so I would tell anyone to go there.

Management is very available and very responsive. The staff in the dining room have been wonderful, the activities are well organized and very regular and the caregivers have been great. I think it is a great value.

Management here follows up a lot better than where she was at before. I am satisfied with the price and Mom says the food is really good.

We chose The Sheridan at Mason for my husband's respite stay because of the people there and how beautiful the community is. Overall, the management has been great, keep me informed and his room is bright, so I love it. He likes the caregivers and jokes around with them, which is good, so they are fantastic with him. I think the housekeeping has been excellent and his place is kept clean. My husband hasn't complained whatsoever and is full after every meal, so he has been enjoying it.

I didn’t want to move my husband out, he just needed more care. It's a nice looking place, almost like a hotel. Housekeeping did an excellent job and we were satisfied with the maintenance crew. The care givers did a really good job, they have such patience. One of the day nurses, Jasmine and the night nurse Chianti, they were so nice. I enjoyed the residents there and I was happy with him there.

I have compared it to others and the price seems to be fair for this area. My husband seems to be enjoying the food and he is gaining weight. In terms of his care, they are friendly and willing to help. All of the personnel at the desk have been more than helpful That is a good entrance to the facility. They are on the ball and on top of things.

We chose it for two reasons; one, it was within the same ownership as the Barrington where he was living previously. Two, after visiting, the staff was seemingly exactly what we were hoping to find. My dad seems to be very pleased with the dining and has not complained at all. I was very pleased with the description of what was to be expected for activities. They are having a transition of a new activities director who I think is going to be fantastic. I am not there to witness all of the activities but they seem to be good. The building is very clean and very bright and very well ordered. The caregivers have been outstanding.
