The Sheridan at Mason

In regards to the activities, they are pretty good. It looks like there is a lot for them to do. Housekeeping is good. The care givers seem to do a good job and if things go wrong they call me.

The director, Stewart, is always available for conversations and he answers questions. He is always timely in his responses and genuinely seems to be engaged with the residents and the community. The service in the dining room seems to be fine. I think there is a variety of activities and they seem to be quite frequent. The community seems to be clean and well lit. The laundry is fine and my father is in different clothes every day I go there. This is a new community and seems to be well taken care of and clean. Maintenance has always been really available and able to take care of things in a quick manner. The caregivers seem to communicate quite frequently with my mother and advise her on any changes with my father. This is the first time we have been through this and our experiences with my father have been satisfactory. The staff is friendly and knows us when we come and go. They are responsive to our questions.

I like the size of the place and I let her choose where she wanted to be. It is nice. I guess you just have to factor in the new place. It is fresh, has high ceilings, bright light and colors. The staff are all just super nice. Everyone is always smiling. Mom likes to play the card game King's Corners in activities. They have outings every week. The activities director is great. The housekeeping staff comes in every week to do the cleaning. When you walk in the place always smell fresh, the floors are vaccumed and it is always clean. The nursing staff is super cool, especially Michelle. She knows what is going on anytime you see her or go to her with a question. She like really pays attention to the clients there.

Management is tuned to each individual resident, it's amazing to me how they interact even though they have a management title. Everything seems to be well taken care of and if you have a maintenance request, the staff is right on it. I am amazed by the compassion of the people that work there, it's amazing to me how it can change the lives and mental status of a person who has memory care issues. I think they do a wonderful job, it's very appreciated by the families and residents.

This community is like a family style residence. The staff treats the residents with respect. I think the price is pretty reasonable. We looked at a number of different options and I was very impressed with the overall rate. They did just go up this year but I still think it is a fair price compared to what they have to offer. The little interaction I have had with the management has been very good. My mom and a lot of her friends are active. They always have something going on from the time they get up in the morning to after dinner. They have shopping trips for the residents who want to participate in them. My mom loves the activities. The housekeepers are extremely attentive. They are extremely respectful to the residents and make sure they only do what is asked for by the residents. She enjoys the housekeeping and they do a really good job. There was a large amount of rain and the windows in the front began to leak severely. The maintenance team was on it right away and got a company to come out and reseal them. They have had issues with the elevators but they are able to get people in to deal with that right away. There are times where mom has had a minor issue like blood pressure issues or she is dizzy. The caregivers are there right away to make sure she is taken care of. They always communicate with me every time. They provide her medication for her and that makes me feel better. I know she is getting them every day and taking them as she should. Everyone is extremely nice.

Management does a decent job of keeping the community well kept and the staff is good quality staff. Chef Rob is very good and the service in the dining room is excellent. Housekeeping comes in and cleans. They do a great job and so does maintenance. For her level 1 care, the care she gets is great.

My husband has been back in Memory Care for almost a year now. One of the nurses, Chianti, she gets everything done, and she always has time to check on people. She manages everything. If someone looks unhappy she gives them a hug, asks what's wrong. The nurses are great, the caregivers are absolutely wonderful, they're like moms and dads to the residents. We had a lot of questions about my husband's condition and they are always very willing to sit down and discuss care planning and medicine. They just changed activity people for the Memory Care. The new girl, yesterday she had a group of around 10-11 people and she seemed to be very interactive with them. I think the building is beautiful. I never see a light out, if there is one I guess it's fixed right way. My husband has a larger room and housekeeping keeps it clean. I recommend it all the time. If you want to be picky, you'll find things wrong, but I think my husband’s needs are met, and that is important to me so I'm happy.

Management is always very willing to help. My mom had so much fun on the last outing they went on and loved the town they went to. I love the Director, Allie and Tim, they're just awesome, they're fabulous, she loves to be around them. The transportation services and the maintenance guy Chris are really great, the building is beautiful. The healthcare staff communicates very well.

I think the place is beautiful. Mom has said she likes the people and the friends she’s made. My experience has been good and so has hers for the most part. The servers in dining are very nice. I think they have a good variety of activities for the residents to participate in and the people seem to enjoy them. The building is beautiful and they are taking good care of my mom.

They have opportunities for them to get out for activities, my mom gets to spend time with people and keep her mind busy. They got a new Head Nurse named Yvonne, things are just great. I think she's turned everything around for that whole facility, she's that good.
