The Sheridan at Mason

The management have been nothing but great. I think the Sheridan has a nice variety of activities. They have music groups come in and almost every night they have a movie going on. They have tons of crafts and activities. They take buses out all the time. There is a lot and she is very pleased with that part of it. Her apartment always looks tidy and nice and clean and vacuumed and dusted. The care staff are absolutely wonderful. My mom loves them. They are so sweet and so kind. The care staff comes and checks on her. She recently had a fall and had to go to the emergency room. She required a little extra care when she came back. They have been wonderful to her. I can't say enough nice things about them.

I think the management staff at the Sheridan are very friendly and have good intentions.They do a great job keeping the residents looking forward to the next activity. They get my dad if he doesn’t show up for something There is lots of variety in the menu, it's high quality food, and the servers are very nice and helpful. Transportation is a great service. They're always cooperative whenever my dad needs to go anywhere. It's been almost a year since we moved him in and I think all is well.

I chose The Sheridan because it was close. For the services the price is about the same for around this area. So far the food looks like it's good. My husband eats everything. When you ask maintenance to do something like put a bird feeder out they will do it and everything seems very clean. It's been good.

The dining service is wonderful and friendly. The atmosphere is wonderful. It is a big social time for my mother and the staff is great. The community is kept up very nice. I think they do a good job and we are happy with the housekeeping. I think that they try really, really hard to give them different activities to do, so that has been good to see. Overall we are very happy with the place.

I've not had a single problem. I popped in once right after they were in there and it looked like a hotel room it was so clean. It's a brand new place, and I walked in one day and the sink was disconnected from the vanity, so it fell. They were up there within an hour and they had it fixed in no time. My father has slowly started to enjoy just about everything they do. Obviously not everything is going to be his cup of tea but he's doing things that I never thought in a million years he's do so I guess as he makes friends they draw him in and he's a social butterfly. I haven't heard any complaints at all. The service in the dining room is awesome. Management and sales has been great with their communication and everything leading up to him getting in there and since he's been in there. Anything we ask them to do they've taken care of, they've gone out of their way to do extra things that we don't ask to do and they're just perfect.

They're all about the same price around the area. I do like the apartment space and my mother does as well. The Activities Director, Ally, is amazing. I can't say enough good things about her. She loves these people and she just has the heart and personality for this. Chris, the Director of Maintenance, is very responsive as well. I don’t even know who the Director of Dining is, I've never seen him or her, but Perry who is there is phenomenal. He knows every resident by name and you can just tell he cares about people and he cares about his job. When I have eaten there it has been fine, no complaints.

When I went to the memory loss wing, the aides were sitting there getting ready for lunch and playing games, it was good. We're pleased. They have a level of staffing that seems to work well with my parents; they're very attentive and contact me with anything that needs to be addressed, whether it's just changing a medication or dosage. They're always contacting me and are there when I’m there. They're gregarious and really caring; they know me on sight and tell me what's happening today. I am pleased. I think they're doing a really good job.

I think Stuart, in management, is very effective and is doing a wonderful job. The food is good and the variety is nice. I think the man that runs the cafeteria area is absolutely wonderful. The Activities Director is wonderful, everybody loves her. They have a lot of neat and fun things to do for them. I definitely think my mom is getting a good value.

I really like them; I think they are doing a good job with my Mom. I also think that maintenance has done a good job. They've added benches outside which is helpful for people like my mother. They have changed things around as they see best appropriate. The food is good. I think it's a good value. I think it's a really nice place. I think that the care is good and that the people they hire are caring.

My mom chose the apartment and is very happy with it, lots of room. The Administrative staff is excellent and very helpful. They're very attentive to my questions and concerns as well as my mom's. She is constantly in an activity of some sort and loves it. The housekeepers are constantly attentive, coming in and doing a great job straightening and cleaning her room. When she first moved in she had to make a couple of phone calls to Maintenance and they were there within half an hour. They're constantly making changes and improving the building, so things are going well. She just adores everyone up there, all the nurses and CNA's. Any time she has had a question, or rings her buzzer, they've been right there. I have been very pleased with her stay there.
