The Sheridan at South Jordan

The price is more than fair. We shopped around quite a bit and they were a little less than others and they were a brand new community with nicer rooms. My wife speaks highly of management. The servers in the dining room do a good job and my mother in law loves the activities. She stays very active. We have only put in one work order but maintenance came as soon as they could. They came and did a good job. The building is brand new so it is in excellent condition. The caregivers are good about getting her meds. They are always on time with that.

I am satisfied with the services and accommodations provided to my mother in law at The Sheridan at South Jordan, the building is very nice. Every time we have had an emergency, I think management has handled it very well, so they're accessible and responsive. The dining is going well since she is happy with it and the service is satisfactory. The apartment cleaning is good and with the stuff that we have had maintenance do, they have been great. Regarding her care, the healthcare does well. They're respectful, knowledgeable, accessible and responsive, so it's been a satisfactory experience overall.

I am thoroughly impressed with Walter. He is manager here. I really like Miguel the front desk personnel. They are very helpful all the time. I think they need to give Miguel a raise. He does a fantastic job. I have been impressed with the dining. They do a good job. The service has been good. The housekeepers are always in and about. The place always looks clean and the garbage is emptied. The building is very well maintained. It looks very nice. In regards to the care, I called Curtis yesterday and had a nice conversation with him. We resolved some issues that I had. He is very responsive. His overall knowledge of what is going on is good. He is very easy to work with, very friendly, very helpful and very compassionate. I don't see any problems with the other staff as well. The times that I have talked to them I have been impressed. I think they are doing a great job and I appreciate their efforts.

I'm very happy with the care and the facility. For this moment in my mom's life, I couldn't ask for anything better. The healthcare staff are extremely caring people that try really hard to do everything right. They have a lot of activities that they keep trying like, music, books, movies, parties and they do a lot of really great things. The building is beautiful, everything looks good. It's very expensive to live there but for the care and what they do I'm willing to pay that. I think this is by far the best place in the Valley here.

I watched it being built and it looked like a really nice place and I wanted something close. I think it's all very nice, we went to a lot of different places and this one is really clean, nice and bright and I felt like the staff was extremely trained; they were just very caring at The Sheridan. The caregivers have been really sweet to her, really kind, they come and help her. Management all did a really good job and were very friendly and informative and she's been liking the food so that's really good.

I would highly recommend it, two people we know have moved their parents in since mom moved in earlier this year. I had my mom at a community before The Sheridan and it was a nightmare. From Walter, billing, all the way down, Trina, I can’t say enough about her, everybody in management has been great. The food is really good. We were impressed day one, and the family has had a couple meals since, and we’ve loved it. Mom loves the activities. They've been doing outings twice a week, sometimes more. The building is immaculate, and we haven’t had any issues with cleaning in her apartment. The Sheridan is a little on the higher side, but you get what you pay for. I don’t have to worry about her here at The Sheridan. I don't have to come in every day and micromanage things; they give me peace of mind.

What we are getting for the money is amazing and my mother loves it. I think the food is great and the healthcare staff is excellent. Maintenance is wonderful, they come right away and do everything, they're perfect. The Activities Director is always trying to find out what the people want and their hobbies and what they love and trying to incorporate that, and you can see that happening. Overall, I think we are in good shape.

They take good care of the people, they care about them like they're part of a family. Trina is worth her weight in gold and Jenny is so good. I think if we went to a place that was a litlte bit less, my mom wouldn't be getting the same personal care that she gets there so it's worth the money for us. They make sure she can be a part of most of the activities. Jenny in Memory Care tries to find out mom's interests and what she can do with her limited abilities, when she found out my mom liked fishing she brought in a fishing pole for her to try and use so we really appreciate that. The healthcare staff are so loving and kind to our mother, we just love it.

Since moving my mother to the community I think the staff goes out of their way to tend to her desires. I like the fact that the chef goes out of his way to take care of her dietary needs. The activities department staff do a good job of making the activities fun for all the residents. The care staff are very caring. Whenever she or I have pushed the button they are right there on the spot. We are satisfied having her there.

I chose The Sheridan for my mother, I was impressed with their cleanliness. I think housekeeping does a good job, and maintenance is responsive. Everyone knows mom's name and is so eager to assist us in any way they can. I think the caregivers are amazing. They do a good job. I'm very impressed with staff and their care. You pay for what you get, and I know she's getting a lot of care. I think they're doing an amazing job.
