St. Augustine Plantation

Management really worked with us on getting him in quickly and I appreciated that. The dining is very good, the housekeeping and maintenance have been great and the care is wonderful. His room is perfect.

If I was an elderly person that needed to be in an assisted living I think it would be a fun place to be. I have found it to be positive. I feel comfortable with her being there and I enjoy visiting her there. We have eaten a few meals with mom and I liked it. The chef there is a super nice guy and seems to want to please the residents with the food.

The apartment design is safe, that was a major factor in choosing it. Management is easy to work with and lets me know when there is an issue, you couldn’t ask for better. The dining area is very nice, linen table clothes, silverware that's metal, the atmosphere is good. The community is beautiful and it smells good. They have lots of activities and outings, the activities are above and beyond in Memory Care. I've seen the care givers interacting with residents and they genuinely care, are always available, doing what is needed, and appear to enjoy their job. I have been exceptionally happy.

Everybody on staff has been helpful. The process to get her moved in went very smooth. I have been very impressed with the meals they offer. She gets real fruit and vegetables, it isn't something out of a can. I thanked the lady doing the laundry for the good job she is doing. Mom's clothes were hung up right side out and folded properly. That has been impressive.

The management is very accessible and always happy to meet with you.

I don't think there is any Memory Care building as good as this, as far as the layout and light. I have seen other places and even the hospice nurse has said this is by far the best. I think they have worked really hard on things, from my point of view. Darrell is the best nurse ever in the whole world.

I think the staff is wonderful and I think they keep the residents pretty active, we've seen my father participate in some of that. The healthcare staff is very loving, friendly, supportive and attentive.

We are very pleased with this community and dad is happy. Management is the best and are very prompt if I have a question. The kitchen meets my dad's needs and he loves to eat. The caregivers are so attentive to dad and he is always very clean which is important.

I feel they did an exceptional job with my uncle. They are compassionate, and bent over backwards to help him and me. Dining was wonderful.The care givers were wonderful, the staff was great. I am just really grateful they were there for him, for us, and I wish he was still there. I think they were charging too little. It's almost half the cost of places by me. He had a huge room, it was just beautiful. I felt he was safe.

The price has been very good and management has been attentive to things we have asked for. The staff keep the residents pretty entertained. If something needed to be repaired, maintenance would fix it that day. The building is very nice and they have some phenomenal care staff. We have been very pleased and my mother has done very well here.
