Symphony at Olmsted Falls

Everyone that comes in to take care of my wife is very friendly and helpfu. The care team handles her with techniques that I have never even dreamed of. The managment team are quick and clear with their responses to any questions I have had.

I just moved mom in. We looked at lots of communities and it was Symphony's cleanliness, the appearance, and the staff was great. Those were the things that stood out. We looked around, and for Memory Care it is definitely high end, and the value is good. I would definitely recommend it for someone who needed that level of care. The nurses are great. They've been friendly. Everybody there has been wonderful. I can’t say anything bad 'cause I've never seen anything bad. If you go in unannounced you can see the caregivers are great with the people. Their attentive, you never see them congregated and ignoring people, they're wonderful. The maintenance man there is friendly and helpful. Her apartment's always clean. The laundry is done, it's always returned to her. It's outstanding, the housekeepers are great. I haven’t eaten there myself, but I have been there for meals. The food always looks very presentable, it always looks nice. The dining room is always clean, nice, and inviting to eat. For the level of care, the value is great. Symphony is a wonderful community.

I feel like my mom is doing really well there. She loves the food. I could hardly get her to eat when she was with me and now I always find her in the dining room. From what I understand they take them out on little outings. She's happy about it. I can tell she is being bathed and taken care of well. She looks in better shape than I do.

I moved my parents into the memory care unit because it just seemed more appropriate for what the future would hold for the both of them. My mom didn't want to be separated from my dad because they've been married for 61 years. The experience has been amazing and I couldn't ask for better care for my parents right now. Megan, in management, has been amazing! She bent over backwards to help us and is just the sweetest, kindest, most loving girl. Danielle, in the front office staff, has also been a big help. She's so kind everytime I walk in the door. I've eaten in the dining room numerous times and it's been really good. Housekeeping and laundry take care of everything and do a great job. Their room is always clean, always picked up and the beds are always made. Joe, in maintenance, is amazing! He was very helpful and the room was imaculate when we moved them in. I'm very pleased with the care services and the nurses have been amazing. Anytime anything changes with my parents health or medications, I'm always given the updates. The community has been wonderful, it's perfect in all ways and I feel very safe with them there.

I moved my dad into this community about one month ago and I feel that they're really looking out for him. Management and the healcare staff have answered all of our questions, they're very personable and easy to reach. The dining staff is very friendly and accommodating and my dad seems to really like the food. The last time I went to his room, houskeeping did such a good job, that it looked liked no one was living in it because was so clean. I'm very impressed with the housekeeping, laundry and maintenance departments. Everything so far has been very good. It's a hard situation to be in and they made it easy for us.

I think they take really good care of my mom, and because of that, it just takes a lot of pressure off me. It is a lot of money, but we are getting a lot of peace of mind, and it's hard to put a price on that. I like how they can't really get lost because of the coridor and how it's a rectangle. I love the courtyard you have. It's just very pleasant for me to see and also for the residents. I think her room is wonderful. As far as the gentleman inside who does maintenance, if you need a photo hung or something, he is so good to do it, and he is always so kind and gracious to us as family. He always speaks to the people who live there as well. The aides, I don't know how they scan them to hire them, but I haven't met one who is anything other than excellent. I have seen them interacting with people, and they are great. My mom participates in a lot of the things they have in house, and they are marvelous. I just love when they come and do the music. Even when they are just doing little sing-a-longs or puzzles, I think they do a marvelous job.

My phone calls are returned and I think there really hasn't has been any major issues. In terms of Megan's ability, she has oversight over the staff, but trusts them to do the job so there is a nice balance of trust and accountability. They do have activities in the morning, evening and afternoon so they do encourage my wife and try to let her participate, so it's up to each resident's choice whether they do or not. Joe introduced himself and makes himself very accessible. She had an appointment offsite and he accompanied me because she is a flight risk, so Joe has been extra accommodating. So far I have been very satisfied.

Management was very kind and like I said we were at our witts end with finding a place and they were very accommodating. I think the food has been good so far and it is always available so whenever he's hungry they're always willing to make him something. I've gone in a couple of times and he's been participating in stuff, which is good. The care staff has been very kind and helpful so far, as has the maintenance staff. Joe was great and helped us with the move. It's pretty compareable with other places around too, which is nice.

I email Danielle and Megan in management a lot. They are nice and call me and have always been very responsive. My uncle says that meals are always very good and that he likes it. It is always very clean when I go there and his clothes are always done. Stephanie is amazing and does a great job and is great at keeping me up on things. I would definitely recommend it if someone needed that type of care.

My wife seems to be well groomed. The overall care is very good. They've got a good facilities operator, Joe. All you've got to do is write a request down for him. It's clean and they have real hard workers. They have excellent housekeepers. Laundry is done on time. When the basket gets full, they are right on top of it. I've never lost any clothes. They're always doing something, and they have a bus when they can take people for rides. I know the food is always good. The menu is always good and good variety. I think they do a good job in management. The front desk is always helpful. The management team is very cooperative.
