Symphony Square

The management cares about their patients. When I go to see my aunt, I see them coming through making sure everything is running smoothly. They know all the patients and I see how they interact with them and they know them on a first name basis. In the assisted living part of the building they have a beautiful dining room where they have menus out and it is like you are going to a restaurant. They choose what they want. On Sundays they have a brunch that is open to everyone. The service in the dining area is great. Everything looks clean and in place when I get there. The bathrooms and even the ones out for the public are always nice and clean. The place smells good. It is always very pleasant. Everybody in the healthcare department does an excellent job. Everybody is always on task and working and doing what they need to do. They try to keep the patients happy and when they know a patients likes they go out of their way to make sure that patient has it. They are really nice to them.

Symphony Square was the third institution she lived in while in this state. Of the three, I would put this one far above the rest in terms of value. The staff in that memory care unit does a remarkable job literally day in and day out. The medical staff as well are very engaged with the residents and know them. They respect them for who and what they are at this point. The care staff were well matched and their temperament was well suited for what they were doing. They enjoyed the people they were taking care of. Whenever we needed them they were quick to respond with answers that made us feel comfortable. My mom's apartment was always clean. It takes a special kind of person to deal with the individuals they were dealing with there and I have a lot of respect for them.

At this point I am very happy with the value my mother is receiving at the community. I like the feel of the community and I also like the friendliness I feel there.

The management at the community is helpful, professional and communicates very well, especially the first week during the move in. Management was accomodating when we were looking, very friendly and approachable. In activities, I really like Dominic and Lashanda. I think they are incredible. There is a good variety of activities and the personnel is what I think is fantastic. The people they have working in that department are stellar. Also, my mom's feedback is the food has been excellent. I would absolutely recommend the community to others.

Management was all very nice and accommodating during the transition. For being a nursing home I think it is kept very clean and there are no smells or odors. She is getting very good care here and I think the caregivers are all very nice.

The staff gives you everything you need. The management always listens to what you tell them and they answer all of your questions. The activities are wonderful, and the food is good. The housekeeper does a very good job.

The care is great. Claudette, the wellness director there, is outstanding. The other nurses I've met there have also been very good. We have used the transportation, and it was excellent. The driver was so good. The building is new, so it looks good and it seems to run well. I think the activities programs are good, and my aunt really likes the woman that runs some of the programs. I've been really happy, and I'm a tough critic. My first impression was with Amy and Claudette. They came out to the rehab where my aunt was to do the assessment. They were warm, they were welcoming, and they did what they were supposed to do without being too obvious of what they were doing. I've been impressed.

The staff has been incredibly responsive to questions or concerns to my mom's needs. They have been warm and attentive. As far as a difficult experience goes, it has been good. They are very attentive. If you bring up a concern, they address it right away. They have been great to deal with. They have a wonderful activities director. She is doing a great job of putting more things together. My mom has not made this easy for them, and they have been very respectful of her boundaries. They have been good at knowing how to ease her into a new living situation.

I think the activities are great and they have a lot of variety. The building looks good and doesn't smell. The care staff come when she needs them and will call me if there is a problem.

I like the place. I think they are rather good with providing activities and trying to keep the residents occupied not with just silly stuff. I think the care is very good that they provide my mom.
