Symphony Square

Security for the building and safety is outstanding. The room is spacious and large enough for the two of them to feel comfortable and feel at home yet small enough that they don't have to worry about taking care of so much space.

At Symphony Square, regarding the management, they're above and beyond, they are great, I do love them. The transportation services are excellent.In terms of care staff, they're awesome and I would never say anything bad about them.

I have been at Symphony Square for over 2 years now and I feel safe at the community. The Nurses are terrific and know their stuff, so I am very happy that these Nurses are who they are. Regarding transportation services, it's always available should I need it and the driver is terrific, so he's amazing. I am satisfied with the maintenance of my apartment and if you need the maintenance man for a repair or anything else, it's always done perfect. The Activity Director does a superb job with the number of residents here and with his hands tied, so to speak. We're a small community and with what he has to do deal with, he is just incredible because the activities are entertaining and consistently offered. Regarding dining, I know they work on a 30 day menu that goes around and around, so there has been more of a variety and they have desserts. When you're here 24/7, it's nice to have that variety because you think to yourself that they care about the residents, plus the server kids do their best, so it's been a satisfactory experience for me at the community.

The directors they have had are very nice, open to suggestions and willing to talk to you. They make you feel at home and comfortable. They have a beautiful set up in the dining room for the residents and the atmosphere is nice. On Sunday's they have a brunch and visitors can come and share in the brunch. The food tastes pretty good. I have seen bingo, painting, word games and games like table ball. There are a lot of activities that Theresa, the activities director, does that are great for people in memory care. The housekeepers are very good with the cleaning. I like that part and they are cleaning constantly. Overall, the building is beautiful and is kept nice. Everything is decorated nicely. I am well satisfied with the caregivers and I know my aunt can be testy. They are patient with her and really care about her. The care is very good.

We chose this community because it is very close to our son and we had the feeling that the service would be more appropriate for my husband. I think the value at this community is very good and it is very safe. We are very pleased with management and the food is very good. The servers are very friendly and they listen if we are not pleased with anything. I think the activities are very good for my husband. We are pleased with the laundry and the maintenance staff helped us hang pictures, which was vey nice.

I chose this community for my mom because of Andrea. Theresa and the other women that work in the memory care unit are really special people. I told Theresa that next time she bakes a cake with the residents I hope I'm around to watch. I was there a couple of weeks ago when she brought in the bowl and ingredients but I had to go somewhere else but that must have been a fun exercise. Maintenance is very accommodating and very helpful. The care staff follows up on things. I have more experience than most at this point and we're very happy with where my mom is at.

Management takes care of the residents very well. Generally the food looks good, the service is fine and they set the tables up very nice. I think they give the residents pretty good activities. I like that they have music playing for most of the time because it is soothing. The housekeeping is pretty good. They take care of my mother's laundry and she is clean every time I go up there. Every time I have gone in there, everything is clean and in place. I don't smell any odors. They keep the building very well maintained. The caregivers are pretty good most of the time and on the whole they are very friendly.

The management over the whole operation is good. The management over the memory care is great. The care staff has the patience of a saint. They have some difficult people, my mother being one of them. They do really well with them. We are pleased with the service we receive from maintenance and housekeeping as well.

The reason I chose this community for my parents is because compared to other places that I visited, it was the best that I saw. Management has been beyond helpful and maintenance has been very helpful as well. I have not eaten the food but from the menus that I've seen it seems pretty good and the servers are more than I expected. I would highly recommend it for people that are looking for a luxurious place to be comfortable as they age.

My mom gets a tremendous amount of care in memory care and gets a lot of personal attention so I think this is a good value. My mom is on a pureed diet and the kitchen staff has been really great in helping with her food. I think the housekeeping has really improved and maintenance has been attentive and responsive.
