A fair value for nice and comfortable rooms.

Review for Symphony at Stuart

My aunt got sick and had to move to a skilled nursing community, so had to move her out. Her little suite was outside of a secondary seating area, one of the reasons we put her there so she wouldn’t have to go far to do anything. It was a nice little room, comfortable. For activities, they were always doing something and after a while they got her participating. We were very satisfied with transportation. George, the driver, was wonderful, he's very good. Occasionally I'd eat there in the dining room and the food was pretty good. The caregivers were very nice and attentive girls. When we toured, it was the first place we looked at, and the marketing person was great so we signed her up. I asked my aunt if she liked living there, if she enjoyed living there, and she said yes. It was a fair price and a good value.

The staff all greet my dad and get him smiling.

Review for Symphony at Stuart

My sister-in-law liked everything about the appearance and talking with people at Symphony. The food has been excellent and there are a lot of different activties available to them and the girls that run the activities have been really good about going up to the residents and trying to actively involve them even if they're not wanting to get involved they manage to convince them, so I think they've done an excellent job with that. My dad has been on the bus and went to a couple places and he enjoyed it, George the bus driver is very friendly and always seems to have everything organized, everything seems to go very well. The healthcare staff is very good, they've all been attentive and greeting him as he walks up and down the halls, they smile and get him smiling. They all seem to be a pretty attentive staff and the therapists that work there do an excellent job. I'm finding everything be extremely good, I'm really happy with the way he's being treated and as far as his physical well being, he's gotten so strong it's amazing.

Great look and feel to the community.

Review for Symphony at Stuart

We looked at a couple of them, she liked Symphony because it was more compact, she didn't have to walk as far as some of the other facilities we looked at. She liked the way it looked and all of the people she met. Everybody in management was informative, straightforward and answered all our questions. She's happy with the food and I think the activities are very good. Overall it went very smoothly, all the paperwork was ready it's been very good.

They are on top of things at Symphony.

The community was highly recommended, Julie Thompson was very helpful, so was Kim in marketing, and Melissa in Memory Care. I'm very pleased, Melissa has been very accessible. From what I have seen, the activities are great and the housekeeping staff has been on top of things.

A top-knotch community!

Review for Symphony at Stuart

We’d done a lot of research and were impressed with the offerings, the things we were told, and the new things we saw, so we moved mom in. We spoke to someone with a family member there who gave a good review. The care givers all seem to be very caring and respectful. I know mom is an easy person to get along with but it's nice to have people recognize that and treat her accordingly. They have engaged mom with activities. Melissa, the Activities Director, is very good at sending pictures of activities mom has done. It is head and shoulders above her last place. We had some TV stuff they helped out with, maintenance has been fine. Whenever I am there the community looks well-kept and well taken care of. Everybody has been really, really responsive. Everything has been top-notch, really. The price is comparable. Cost was one of the driving factors when we were looking, and they were willing to work with us. We feel we're getting a good value and good peace of mind.

It's a pretty good value.

Any problems we’ve had, my wife and I, the management has sorted. The food is okay, and they put in effort into the activities. Apartment cleaning and laundry are okay, and maintenance has been pretty good. The value is pretty good.

Helpful, accommodating, and understanding staff!

Review for Symphony at Stuart

A friend of mine has his mother in Symphony in Fort Lauderdale and has had a good experience so I checked it out where I live. I like the facility and that it's new but not brand new so I thought a lot of things would be worked out, it's a nice facility. I had a good experience with the staff, Patty in sales was very helpful, accommodating and understanding so that was a good lead in. The Executive Director listened to my concerns, there seems to be good coordination. The chicken salad was delicious and my dad likes the food, I think that's one of the most important things for them that the food is good and he likes the service in the dining area. It really looks like a very clean place. I think it's a good value right now.

The staff is warm and wonderful!

Review for Symphony at Stuart

The community was local and we did a respite and my dad liked it so he's permanent there now and very happy, we're very happy with Symphony. The staff has been wonderful, I dealt with Kim, Patty and Debbie and they've all been very professional, upfront, nothing hidden or no surprises. My dad has been very happy with the activities, he's going to be starting painting tomorrow so he's very excited about that, they have someone new coming in. The place is immaculate, David helped my dad move in and get set up in his apartment, it was wonderful. The healthcare staff has been very warm, just wonderful, my dad is so happy.

The activities are fascinating!

Review for Symphony at Stuart

I think the community is beautiful, it's very convenient, there's a very nice staff, the rooms are nice, the building is well kept, there's nice meals, and so far I am happy with the care my loved one receives there. I don’t have much basis for comparison but the price is reasonable and affordable. Management is still accessible to us, maintenance helped with the move-in, and housekeeping is excellent. The menu looks very good, I haven't had a chance to taste it, but the residents seem to enjoy the food. I have looked at all the activities and they look fascinating, I wish I could participate myself. I think the care givers are very competent, caring, and have communicated very well with me. I know they are working on getting licensing for staff to provide extra care for extra pay. The entire community is beautiful, very clean, and the people are very nice. I am very impressed.

My mother in law is in the right place!

Review for Symphony at Stuart

My mother-in-law moved in because of the Memory Care unit. We met John, the chef, he is outgoing and accommodating. They have lots of activities going on. She is an introvert but they try to include her and she has done things she's never done before in her life so kudos to them. There’s a new Director in Memory Care, Melissa, for the last couple of weeks. I have spoken to her on the phone probably every other day. She now gets showers. Melissa seems on top of things. There is a nurse there, Jen, who has been amazing from day one, she gets my mother-in-law. I think the Memory Care unit is excellent, they have cameras, and it’s a safe environment. She's in the right place.
