Symphony at Stuart

So far so good. Everything is nice and clean. The whole building is immaculate. The food is great and everything is excellent. The girls do a great job servicing. Management seems to work with us very well.

When I first visited the community, I could tell that all of the people that I met really focused on the care of the residents. The main caregivers, Barbara and Rosita, they have been wonderful. Overall the building is always spotless. The room is always clean and the laundry is always done. The food is amazing. Julie was the first person that I met and she was terrific and understanding of our situations and needs. Kim is very warm, knowledgeable and helpful in answering all of our questions. You can tell that they are very enthusiastic about what they do, caring about the residents and proud of the facility.

I chose this community for my mom becuase I think the price is reasonable and competitive, and we're getting a good value. Since moving her in on my visits there I found the place very clean, organized, and well-kept. The mainenance team is willing to come to hang pictures and do some odds and ends, they have been very accommodating. Overall, it's a good fit for my mom and we have had no major problems so far.

We had nothing but a wonderful experience with Symphony. My mom went into the hospital a couple of times, and for example, the last time she came back, and when she was coming back we weren't able to be there. Ed, the Manager, was there. A bunch of people were there with flowers and a welcome back sign. They took pictures and sent it to us, which made us feel so much better. My mom didn’t expect it and she was thrilled. She felt like a movie star on the red carpet. That was above and beyond, but that's what they do there. She liked the activities. She liked the movies, the little social events, and the music. Somebody might be playing piano in the hall, people would be singing, and every little celebration and she loved that.
The place is almost a year old and still looks brand new. Transportation is good. Everyone was very, very, very friendly, very respectful, and would go out of their way. Whenever she would say, 'I want to go home,' she meant Symphony. That was her home. With everything, it was a good value. She didn’t have to cook, her laundry was done, room was cleaned, bed made, they kept her safe and comfortable, entertained and well fed. It was a load off my mind knowing she was definitely safe and well taken care of there.

The management staff answers pretty much any question or any assistance we need with medical help or any kind of question we have. Whether we're looking for a doctor for my mom or anything to make her adjustment to this kind of living better for her, they're there to help. Every need has been met so far, I think everything is pretty good. I think she's very satisfied. Everything seems to be going along great, going above and beyond what she's needed. The TV and everything was already taking care of prior to us moving there. They asked us what kind of TV she had and when we came there it was already waiting for her. Same with the telephone, they had taken care of that. As far as pictures and stuff, my husband and I didn't ask them to do that but I'm sure that knowing them they would have been right there for us to do it. Everything looks really well-kept and maintained.

I feel that my husband is safe and secure in the community. The management staff is trying to make the residents happy and have town meetings. They are learning the resident’s needs, what they like to eat and what they like to do. They take the residents on bus trips, do exercising and the staff sing and dance with the residents in memory care. The maintenance staff keeps the building kept up and I don't have any problems with laundry.

I am extremely satisfied with management. I have no complaints, they have exceeded my expectations. Housekeeping and laundry have been great. The facility is immaculate. Transportation is terrific. Everybody is extremely pleasant and helpful.

The aides are really good; they took over doing my father's medication. I think what they're doing is good. They watch him and make sure he gets what he needs. I'm pleased. I know Jerry from maintenance very well. He's been really good. It seems to be running efficiently. The new people that have come in seem to be right on the ball. I see that they're busy with the activities. I see the music going on, they're doing projects, I see a lot when I go in there. I think the food is very good. I recommend it to everybody. The director there, Edward Trotta, really keeps a one on one relationship and has with me whenever I'm in the building; he goes out of his way to ask me if I need anything. If I've had issues I've come to him. He is available. Every time I'm there I never am there for too long before someone asks me how they can help. Overall it's a very nice and safe area where the location is.

I think that they are very attentive to my husband, and when I am there, they seem to very interested in saying hi and so forth. The caregivers stay on top of everything. It is always clean and organized. The only thing I did request for the maintenance staff was to hang up some pictures and they did a nice job. They have programs going all the time that really involve as many people as who are interested in doing them. I would always like the price to go down, but as far as cleanliness, food, and entertainment, it's what I need for him right now.

It's a very nice place with a good layout. It's brand new, so it looks nice. I thought the people that I talked to seemed to be conscientious and caring, attentive to all of our needs, and ready to take on the needs of our transfer. It seems like they keep my wife occupied with activities. She's always ready to come home, but she's happier there. I'm satisfied; it all looks good to me.
