The Wentworth at Draper

We're overall happy. My dad loves the dining, that's his excitement for the day. Mindy does a fabulous job with activities. We have no issues with housekeeping and are satisfied with maintenance. The caregivers are wonderful, every single one of them is so helpful. We're really happy with where he's at and the care he gets. I think the price is fair. He loves it. He is proud to invite visitors.

The care staff was excellent; they were all very good to my mom. The management is wonderful there, very good and I've had no problems. The activities were excellent and my mom enjoyed them. The only time she'd use the transportation was for excursions and it was excellent. Whenever I told maintenance there was a problem in the room he was right there, usually the same day. My mom loved the food there, it was good and the servers were absolutely excellent.

I love this community and I believe mom gets the best care she can get here. It is probably the most reasonable community around. I would say we have very good management. They are always here and always involved. They are open to texting, even at night. I would say the food is good most of the time and the dining staff is well loved. The maintenance has been good. Ever since we got this new guy he is up on stuff. He is really good. He is quick to take care of stuff. The community as a whole is well maintained. They are there to fix it and to make sure it doesn't happen again, which is what they need to be doing.

I think all the staff does a good job here. I am really impressed with the nurse, Michelle, she does a really good job. Mom really likes her apartment and she doesn't have any complaints about any of the services she receives. I think they have done a good job with maintenance. I think they keep the building up pretty well.

The management staff is great here. They are very kind and thoughtful. She likes most of the food from the dining service and Julio is her favorite server. She doesn't participate in the activities but likes to watch from the foyer area. Overall, I think the maintenance has been great. The last incident I remember was her TV remote wasn’t working. The maintenance man came and fixed it for her, it needed batteries. He fixed her walker when something came apart as well. I think the caregivers are are very accommodating. The nurses and aides are all very caring and attentive with Mom.

I think the value we receive is very good. For the care that she gets I think they do a good job. The management staff is responsive and seems to get things done when there is an issue. The activities department always has something going on. There seems to be a lot of choices of things to participate in.. The maintenance staff has always fixed any issues that occurred. They have even come up with some ideas to make it easier for her. For the services they are doing a heck of a job. She is mostly in good spirits when I go over to talk to her.

I do like they have church going on there and exercises and the salon and nails. I've only spoken with the caregivers briefly but they seem to be doing OK, they seem to be doing pretty good. They give her her medications and she has her button call when she falls and stuff.

After four years there, I know mom is safe there, and comfortable. And I like the fact that if she falls, she tells the CNA's not to call me, but they always call me every time to let me know she's okay. I like her apartment; it's a very nice little space for her, all she needs. Maintenance comes in and help mom when she asks. My mom calls and he’ll come in and get it fixed, they're very good. Building maintenance is excellent, they just did an upgrade on the first floor, and the grounds are good too. Mom loves bingo. They do a wide variety of activities and outings, and every Thursday they go out for lunch. She likes the transportation. One person to know at Wentworth at Draper is Mindy, she's the one who takes a lot of them to doctor's appointments, and waits there for them if family members can’t take them. She's the one who took them to a trick or treat thing at the mall, got all that set up. Without her, they'd be lost. The caregivers also do a great job. The meals have been good. Every time I go there it's something different. The Mother's Day Brunch was excellent. The managers do an excellent job, they really do. I get a hold of them immediately, and if not, they call back in a short time. We're quite satisfied.

Part of the reason why we chose this community is that my mom had a little dog and this community let her keep it with her. Management has been good when I associate with them. Dining is great. If I have to take my mom to a doctor's appointment, they will save lunch for her. The servers are accessible and accommodating. My mom seems to enjoy the meals at this community. Mindy, the activities director, is great. She is good at getting the residents to participate. They go on different outings and the residents seem to enjoy them. Housekeeping is pretty good. Whenever I tell maintenance about a need in her room, they get right on it. The care my mom is receiving has been excellent. They have been really good to her. There seems to be enough staff and there is not quite as much turnover as there used to be. I am happy about that.

I the management does as good of a job as they can on keeping us on things and letting us know things, I think everybody does their job very well there. Cara in charge of the games does an excellent job, she is phenomenal, I think she's one of the best employees they have there. She really really cares fore the people, everybody there. Cara and Brittany are very good, and definitely Joaquin is too. I think they do a good job with housekeeping. Overall, I think the cost is what the goint rate is.
