The Wentworth of Las Vegas

The care staff are wonderful. Any problems they call me and anything you need they take care of it right away. The front door staff that watch out for my father-in-law are wonderful. If anything goes wrong they call me, they are wonderful. They offer a lot of activities to participate in. We are pleased with the services that he is being provided.

I have never had a problem with the management. They are always very helpful. The dining is pretty good. . The building is very nice. It is clean and doesn't smell like old people.

I chose this community for my mom because it was emergency situation and the price was good and the location. The management is wonderful. There are several people that are there to help and they get right back to you when you call. The healthcare staff is amazing. We went in there one day and they were curling my mom's hair, they're just amazing. The activities are wonderful, they're absolutely incredible. My mom is in memory care and every time we're there, all waking hours they're doing something with the residents. This is an amazing place, it was a good choice. It feels like they're all a big family there.

The price is competitve with the market and my father is very happy with the dining. His apartment is kept clean and the laundry is done weekly so that is good.

I visited a few places that seemed dark and dreary, it's more friendly, open and the rooms are nice, I really like it. The food and dining is good and so far the activities are very nice. Everything went smooth, management accommodated us in moving her from California to Las Vegas, they were ready and were real good with it. The healthcare staff has been been very nice, very friendly, it's always clean, very nice, bright and cheerful.

When I looked at the place I liked the lighting, the open hallways, and the ability for my sister to go out in the yard. I had lunch with her and I would say it was very good. I think she feels safe. I know the whole building looks okay. Christina is the Activities Coordinator. She takes them up to do puzzles and read and things like that. She loves music so I did tell her today when to go down to listen to it. I had lunch with her and I would say it was very good. It was in the main dining room, I don’t know about Memory Care yet. She said the first day the food was good, but with dementia it's kind of hard. All in all, the dining is excellent.

We liked the facilities and services they had to offer, the community is a very inviting environment, so my mother-in-law is now safe there. Armando is amazing, he's a saint, he's a really great guy and you can tell he really loves his job. Armando is the Director of Health & Wellness; it's crazy how often he is there. If there is a problem, he calls my husband right away. The food seems to be good. Her rooms, the bathrooms and hallways and bedroom are clean. As far as I can tell everything is good. Everybody has been great, responsive, and helpful.

My mom thinks this is a very nice place. It is expensive but it is a pretty good value for all that you get there. The accommodations are very nice. There have been safety concerns but I talked to them about it. They take excellent care to make sure safety is a number one priority at this community. I think management is doing the best they can. The activities are much better. They had something for over an hour and a half the other day and all the residents love it. They had a trivia day and my mom loved it. Christine, the new activities director, put my mom on the calendar to play piano for other people because she is an excellent piano player. The laundry is always done and Raul, the maintenance man will get to things immediately when you ask him for help. My parents love the scenic bus ride. My mom and dad will be on that every time usually in the front seat. They have been travelers their entire life and they cannot wait for that one ride. It would be nice if they could go out one more time a week. That is a very nice service that they provide. The caregivers are always so pleasant and right there for my mom and dad. They know how to handle my mom and dad. Didi, a caregiver, is outstanding. They know how to psychologically handle everything. They are kind, always there and do the right thing.

The activities seem to be pretty good, the staff seems to try and include everybody and get everybody to participate. The housekeeping and maintenance services are good and my wife seems to like the food. The caregivers are all great!

When choosing a place for my mom I wanted somewhere that really cared about the residents. I saw Sharday interacting with the residents and she remembered every single person’s name as she walked by. The residents would come up to her and if they approached her I knew they genuinely liked her. It was a little higher than other places but I was willing to pay it honestly because of Sharday. I knew there was somebody in the place at least five days a week that cared about the residents and I could call her and ask questions if I needed to. I believe it is worth it right now. She is very happy with her room and we are happy with it also. The offerings are good that they provide for activities. There is a list of activities in the elevator and Sharday was great about telling us about all the things that are available.
