Woodland Heights

My mother receives a tremendous value at the community. For her rate and having meals and housekeeping, I am very pleased with everything. She is definitely safe and comfortable living at the community. I recommend it to anyone I can. I cannot stress enough how proactive they are, they do a tremendous job. They do a very good job with people coming in to entertain, such as singing in the afternoons. Prior to dinner at 4pm, their gatherings are nice. They have three outings, twice to the grocery store during the week and a lunch outing on Friday. Everything is clean and the floors are swept, cleaned and dusted. I am very impressed with that.

They have a nice variety of activities. She likes socialize at Happy Hour and that is good. They have parties for them like for Mardis Gras and that is fun. The laundry service is great. They are always doing something in maintenance to upgrade the community. It is a great place.

The Activities Director is the sweetest person in the world. She is really good with the tech stuff too - she even comes up to help with my phone. She is just real sharp. They have the nicest person as the driver and they know what they are doing. They are pretty swift too - you call and they come back to pick you up. The janitorial service is perfect.

My parents were living at home 2 hours away, but this transition has been great. The management has been great to my mom and dad since we've moved in. The housekeeping staff is really responsive and clean things up quickly. They enjoy their activities like the yoga, movies and even their church brings in a member for communion. The dining has been good with dependable, good and clean service, and the menu variety is different every time I am there. All in all, they feel safe and comfortable, so the value is wonderful.

Transporation services take me where I need to go and pick me up. I have not hear anyone complain about it. The current maintenance man is the best maintenance person we've ever had, and I've been here since 2013. He has been very good and gets on things right away. There seems to be plenty of activities. The food is good, and the chef understands that I cannot eat certain things.

So far, I'm very impressed with this facility and what the people involved there have to offer. The care staff is very proactive. They communicate with me. I think that these people here have the skill level to work with people with dementia. The times that I've been there, it feels like you're walking into a freshly maintained environment. The building seems very well maintained. It's modern, sleek, and well organized. They've done my father's laundry, and they did a good job with it. The housekeeping service is great. Every time I go in there, I always notice activity and one on one interaction with the nursing staff and residents. The dining is excellent. I was impressed with how good the dining services were. It was very upscale. Ellie, the administrator, is very proactive. She's open to my questions and concerns. She makes time for me. There's a certain aspect of community there that I like. I have been nothing but impressed.

We chose this community for mom after the tour, because of the physical facilities and the way we were treated. I think the value's excellent. Management is responsive, have all the information we need, and are professional. Housekeeping, maintenance, and laundry are very good. I think it's been great. We're grateful they had an opening, and we're very happy.

They've been doing a real good job for her. There has never been a problem. I am happy and I believe my mom is too. She is involved with bingo and she enjoys that very much. Maintenance around the place looks nice and everything seems good.

Management is very knowledgeable and responsive. They're very good about staying on top of things. There is a wide variety of activities, she can get to them and knows about them.

My mom’s happy, stays busy, and has a good time. Housekeeping looks pretty good and maintenance is very nice. She has used the bus they have there and enjoyed it. It's a very good value.
