Woodland Heights

The management seem to do a good job and the servers in the dining room always ask us what we want. The servers do what we ask them to do. This community has a variety of things available to do. The housekeepers clean my apartment well and thoroughly. Everything at this community seems up to snuff and well taken care of. The transportation department is timely and gets you where you are going.

I have lived her for over 13 years and I am very happy here. I have a very large apartment. The housekeeping services are wonderful. They come on the day scheduled and my laundry gets done that day as well. I am satisfied with the dining, activities and maintenance services as well. I am fortunate I can live here and this is my home.

My mom has lived here a little over a year. The main person that I deal with in managment, Ellie, is awesome. She is quick to respond to questions either by phone or text. The floor staff has a lady named Brittany on mom’s floor that does an awesome job in making sure things get done. The activities seem pretty good to me. The air conditioner went out in her room and maintenance was there and working on it within 20 minutes.

I just didn’t like my mom being away from me, I just wanted her back with me, so we moved her out of Woodland Heights. The caregivers were wonderful, they really were. The entertainment and singers the activities people brought in were excellent. When she first went over the food was excellent, really, really good. The maintenance was excellent. Mr. Dodd, the maintenance man, was wonderful, efficient, and friendly. I think the head management is a really good group. I'm sure the price was average with the others. It was one of the nicer places we looked at, and they're a real nice bunch of people.

I moved my father in because I had three or four options and when I went in I spoke with Susan in sales and I liked the place really well. The services I liked, and then I met with her and Pam in finance. The final thing that made the decision is if my father needs more care, a skilled nursing community is across the street. Another reason we moved in was I loved how the grounds and common areas were kept up. It's great, the community is really clean. Housekeeping keeps his laundry washed and so forth, and if anything goes wrong the care staff always call me and lets me know things. My dad says the food is very good, maintenance has been very helpful, and if my dad was the type to participate I'd say the activities are pretty good. From what I have seen, seeing the activities staff at the different holidays, they do a very good job. Everybody so far thinks his room is awesome. If I ever have an issue with cleaning, housekeeping gets right on it and takes care of it. The caregivers, the aides there, if there's ever an issue they're also right on it. I am very satisfied with the value we're getting so far.

We really liked the natural light, it was just a light and airy place, Amy was very friendly, the lady we met who showed us my mother in law's apartment was very friendly. We were just overall impressed with our first impression seeing the place and speaking with Amy. The housekeeping has been really good, that's something we're really enjoying and that impressed us about the place initally too because we looked at another place that wasn't as well kept. We feel very safe, it's very nice.

We recently chose Woodland Heights because it impressed us the most when we toured communities. We're satisfied with the services and accommodations provided, management answered our questions and were accommodating; my mother enjoys the dining and they seem to have a lot of activities. In terms of cleanliness, I am satisfied with her apartment cleaning and they wash her sheets, so housekeeping has been satisfactory as has maintenance with providing us with flatbeds during the move-in so that was very helpful. Regarding her care, all the caregivers are great. They're respectful, knowledgeable, accessible and responsive to her needs so I am satisfied with the decision with made.

The community was chosen for my client based on the managements answers to all of the family's questions. The community looks clean, it's lovely, and I think the healthcare staff is very thorough. The Administrator is very young and seems to be intense about taking care of everyone out there, she is always in motion. The maintenance staff has been very helpful and housekeeping has kept his room very clean.

I just can't think of anything that I don't have that I wish I had. I am kind of prejudice, I just love this place. I call it my home. I am very happy with all the services that are here for me and my use. I especially like the transportation service because it allows me to go places in my wheelchair. All you have to do is put it on a work order and pretty soon it is fixed for you if you need. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I feel safe and comfortable in my apartment.

Overall, I think this is a beautiful place. Mom has lived here for a little over a year. We are pleased with all the different service departments. Elly, in maintenance, has been wonderful. If we bring anything to her attention it is immediately taken care of. I think they fix the things they can and have been honest about the things they can’t. The woman who is in charge with the whole place I can't say enough about her. She has put us in touch with people who have come in and helped mom. Everybody I've met personally I really think a lot of, that is reasurring.
