Woodland Heights

They have a nice variety of activities available. They have exercise classes, a nice library, bingo, water aerobics, outings to shoppping centers. The activities are one of the best things about it. We have some entertainment come in from the outside. We are satisfied with the amount of outside activities that we have. I believe the departments are all doing fairly well. We have already recommended it. We like it enough and respect it enough and think that there is evidence that there will be improvements in the areas that we feel need improvements.

They are treating me well and I have been happy with the room service. I am very satisfied with it. They bring it on time and it is good service. The quality is fine. I really like the girl who has been recently helping me. They do my towels and linens but not my personal laundry. They do a good job with the towels. I like the way they fold them. I like my apartment very much.

I like the manager and I'm sure she is doing a good job. She is very nice. We have a wonderful activities director. Everything she does is tops. She is the smartest girl I have ever seen. I am 99 years and I can't keep up with all she does. The activities are entertaining and they are very much so well put together. I've been here fro 16 years and I'm satisfied.

This community is running well. Management has been respectful and knowledgeable to me. The residents all seem to love yoga. The community seems to have plenty of activities. Housekeeping does a good job for me. I have had no problems with the housekeeping. Maintenance has always taken care of any problem I have had in a timely fashion. This past winter my heater went out and it took them several days to fix it. During that time, they gave me a portable heater. I felt like they were doing the best they could with the weather and the conditions at the time. I was sensitive about it and they did fix it. Transportation is excellent and I have not heard complaints about them.

The activities are excellent. Our activities director always has something going for us to do if we care to participate. The head of the housekeeping is excellent and has been here for thirty years. She works over time to try to make everything right for everybody. Transportation is excellent. When we call to be picked up she comes as quickly as she can and we never have to wait too long for her. She helps us in and out of the bus. I would recommend it mainly because of the residents. We are all compatible and it is like one big family.

My father is in the Memory Care unit, some of the activities happening there don’t happen in the other unit. Yvette is the main nurse, she's particularly good. Housekeeping takes care of his laundry and his clothes. Dining has also been good. I like the food. Nila in management is particularly good. She is kind, considerate, caring, and she really cares about the residents. It's expensive all over, and this community has one of the better prices.

The value is excellent. My mom really gets her money's worth. She is extremely safe and very comfortable. She can control the temperature herself and she is very pleased with that. The management team is doing a wonderful job. Mom seems very pleased with the activities. They do Bingo really well. My mother is a card player and she has found several people who like to do what she does. The Happy Hour that they have Monday through Saturday is very well attended. They also offer snacks for the seniors at the Happy Hour. It is a really nice, quiet atmosphere. She's very pleased with housekeeping. They listen to my mom and do what she asks. You can't ask for much more than that. They have gone above and beyond on a couple of occasions as well.

There is always something for you to do that is interesting. The housekeepers are good. I wouldn't expect any more than I get. They come when they say they're going to come, and they're very nice. I had a leak under my sink, I reported it, and I thought I'd have to wait a few days or a week, but that afternoon somebody knocked on my door, said my garbage disposal was leaking, found a new one, and put it in that day! I personally don't have any problem with maintenance! Transportation is excellent. Cinda, the girl that does that for us, is very courteous and helpful. She has a good attitude. One thing I would say about this place is that the people who work here are very nice and very concerned. I've never asked anyone who works here about anything that they haven't been very nice to me about. I think the staff here is very good and very concerned about the residents.

I think the management has a good attitude and they are very respectful. There are many activities and it's a good variety of options and ideas. I think they're very well attended. Although my mother has not used the transportation much, the times she has everything has gone just fine. They are going under a renovation, which is nice.

They do a good job coming every week to clean my room. They offer many things to participate in, but I am not really one to participate. I think the value is good. It's not perfect here, but I'd recommend it.
